I don’t think anyone deserves their personal lives to be made a matter of public discourse. BB has normalised this in the recent years but it is wrong. And if you are doing it, then do it across the board, the stuff I know about another contestant is much worse.
What Munawar does in his personal life is his choice. He can f*** whoever he wants to whenever he wants to as long as it is consensual. I am sure all of us have done something wrong, something unethical in life, the magnitude may be less but wrong is wrong. But no one would like for it to be made a matter of debate/discussion in their workplace, right?
Arun and Tehelka had merely mentioned the hotel incident to Rider, and that guy came to blows. He was ready to hit Arun and leave the house. He kept crying foul until all the contestants said they won’t bring it up again. Abhishek knew stuff about Anurag, but he stopped too. Munawar knows stuff about Rider and has said he can bring it up but never does because personal stuff shouldn’t be used to gain leverage. If BB is this interested in exposing personal stuff, why only target Munawar? Why didn’t BB ask the contestants to narrate the Rider hotel story one by one and then let the audiences discuss it? Or why did salman come and bash Abhishek for discussing Isha’s personal stuff on NTV. But now Salman himself is passing remarks on Munawar’s personal life.
Did Salman like it when public was discussing his personal life? He was ready to beat up a few reporters because they were asking him about Aishwariya. Salman is a known womaniser and women beater. Aish ka tou khair hai, whatever he did with Somy Ali. Tou aaj aap baith kar fuzool ke remarks pass kar rahe ho, what is your moral standing?
I agree what Munawar did was wrong. But at least present the facts in a consistent manner so that the public jury can pass their judgement (something we have all come to love). Here is how inconsistent the presentation of facts has been:
- Initially from Ayesha’s pre-entry IV it seemed like Munawar was in a committed relationship with two women at the same time. Go back and listen to the IV as well as the promo, and they kept stressing on the word ‘two-timing’. And those promos/IVs were telecasted for 3 straight days. This is how subliminal messaging works, you sow ideas in audiences heads. So even before anything, people had the notion that Munawar was in a committed relationship with two or more women at the same time (Ayesha even said something about marriage proposal which she never said to Munawar).
- In their first confrontation, it was made pretty clear that they were never in a committed relationship. Munawar never committed to anything and it was Ayesha who felt attached to him. So it was clear that the whole idea of him being in a committed relationship with two women at the same time was BS. At this point they altered the narrative to ‘Munawar the cheater’. Yeah, he was hooking up with some girl so he must be a cheater. Sab promos ab cheating par hain, Ayesha keeps saying Munawar did Nazila dirty/wrong or whatever.
- But then it turns out that Munawar and Nazila have always been in kind of an open relationship. They were in a ‘break up, patch up’ relationship. Munawar makes it clear, Ayesha also hints to it, and then that video comes out where Nazila’s own friend is talking about her talking to a guy from Pune while she is upset with Munawar (and both in a relationship). And Nazila is in that video so people can’t say that’s not true. Tou bhai phir cheating kaheki? Nazila likes some guy from Pune while being in a relationship, Munawar is talking to Ayesha while in a relationship, any sane person can connect the dots and get to the conclusion that its an open relationship. But BB ki selective representation of facts!
- And when none of this worked, as it is obviously a product of inconsistent narratives, they start bringing up stuff like Munna had sex with Ayesha, etc etc. Tou bhai, aap ko kya lag raha tha ke wo 2 mahinay saath beth kar bhajjan gaate thay? Namazein parhtay thay? What exactly do two adults do who are attracted to each other? Why is this being presented as some groundbreaking discovery by Isha?
- And on top of everything, you also start making it look like as if Munawar was leading on Mannara.
Usko iske peeche chor dia. BB ne specially Mannara ko confession room bulaya aur bola ke aap itni hurt kyun, yeh kyun wo kyun. Until then Mannara was doing fine. When did Munawar ever lead her on? In fact, at least in BB house, he always maintained distance! But BB wants another angle to cripple any confidence and self-esteem that Munawar may have!
There are many red flags about Munawar…especially him dating much younger women…and I will always hold that against him. But all this is just bs. BB should at least present the facts as they are so that people can form their own opinions. But yahan BB ne apna hi ch****pa shuru kiya hua hai. Uss bande ke cheethre ura diye hain. Credit to him for not crying like Rider or Ankita. Ankita ko Abhishek ne ek baat kya bol di, yeh ghar chorne ke liye tayaar thi. Rider was ready to come to blows and with Arun because that hotel wali baad. And then he went and cried to everyone and made sure no one discusses it. But yahan poora ghar bas munawar munawar munawar kar raha hai jaise khud koi farishtey hain.
That’s why I have utmost respect and love for Rinku, Neil, and Aishwariya. They never passed any unnecessary remarks in this matter. Never made fun, and have always been supportive.
And if all this wasn’t enough, there is a whole campaign against Munawar outside the house. And campaigns are targeting certain sentiments to make sure everyone unites against Munawar. Itna darr hai inhein Munawar se. LOL. Whether he wins or not, he will go down as the contestant jisko haraane ke liye BB aur PRs ne har tarah ke painthre azmaye.
