Quite complicated indeed but from what I understand, it's something like this:

When a South film is sold to a circuit, whatever price (crores) the film was sold at to the distributors in the circuit, that number will be ADDED to the opening day collection.

So for example, if a South film was sold to distributors at a circuit at 1 crore, then that 1 crore will be ADDED to the opening day collection of the film!

I will watch again later what he is saying, if someone has better understanding please share

So if I book a ticket for a Sunday .....my money will be counted towards the opening day??

So confusing...I thought that someone might know what he is talking about...

SRK was indulgent with Ranbir and didn't want to overlap promotion with Animal's. Bhaari pad gaya. Iss film ko chalne ke liye, Animal ko underperform karwana zaroori tha promotions ke through. Dunki's promotion team should have released stuff or organized events 2 days after every Animal promotional. The game is played that way these days.
