Yeah, my mistake, they're half sisters. Technically, Akshara should be a year and a half older, but I believe they made her one year older than Arohi in the show. I'm not a fan of Sirat, to be honest. Sometimes, I wish Arohi was Ranveer and Sirat's daughter.

They are half sisters indeed, akshara is elder whose mother is Naira, and arohi younger whose mother is sirat who is a look alike of Naira. But both girls are bought up by sirat as Naira died when akshara is barely few months old..
