Expected low lifetime from you but below 100 cr is shocking.

The popular belief here is first day & weekend is made on the actor/star, director brand. So with srk on a roll + hirani will just collect 20 cr, isn't it too low?

Agree that zero look doesn't suit srk at all and don't like it.

Tapasee too look dull so far in the movie. Vicky looks good.

Hope hirani doesn't listen to srk and cut action if not relevant to the story. It would be really nice to see a movie where good story is the king.

You must have had your reasons for predicting what you did, but I don't think it would be that disastrous. Worst case scenario would be an average or semi hit. Considering SRK's momentum at the moment and Hirani's track record so far, anything below that would be really really shocking.

It’d be very sad indeed, but Prabhas is exaggrated AF. He is nowhere near SRK in stardom except may be in AP and Telengana. But this putting Dunki against Salaar to hype the 2nd one is really putting me off. As Maroon said, I hope Dunki beats Salaar if not anything.

Dunki will easily go past 300 cr.

I can't predict BO, but I'll try n analyse other aspects

1- SRK's accent is restricted to his older version only, his kinda energy is there which was amiss in Dilwale, JTHJ, Zero etc

2- Humour seems to be on point (plus the mispronunciation humour is lapped up in masses)

3- Vicky Kaushal death scene can do DP in Jawan trick

4- Timing of the film is good imo, the action fatigue would be visible, Animal for all its records alienated the family audience making them feel left out, FOMO ke chakkar mein movie dekhna chahenge

5- Music- this is hands down Hirani's best album, which will work big time once the film released.

6- Topic is too relevant to fail.

7- If SRK fans believe that corporate booking nhi ho rhi hai, they are fooling themselves or they are too NRI coz for a fact he has done it for the opening weekend, which imo is a brilliant AF strategy as it creates a FOMO esque euphoria, giving the movie an insane initial momentum. Tiger 3's opening (which was arguably massive) sealed it's fate of being an underperfomer purely coz comparisons were gonna ruin it.

8- RCE has saved all the promotion n marketing ka paisa for a reason

9- Hirani & Abhijat Joshi have evidently spent a lot of time on this script (Munnabhai 3 ki rehashed script hai I feel)

So opening 45 Cr+ (Tiger 3 se 1cr zyada )

He is not a good actor either. His acting in Adipurush was very bad.

Hirani's shtick was already sort of tired by PK, plus SRK's annoying-isms are all over the trailer so don't know how this will be. But if Zero of all films at SRK's career low got to 90 Cr, how will this do worse that that?

I agree about it underperforming in comparison to Pathan and Jawan but no way it only does 94cr after the previous two films.

The opening I think will be 30cr+ and the word of mouth will be average/below average, but it should reach around the 200cr mark.

I think 94 after the year he’s had is lowballing it too much.

I am loving the honesty. I mean, you’d have to be delusional to think Donkey is going to break records even SRK fans on the forum are not promoting the films much the film has low buzz.

Also according to me, if the film doesn’t cross Jawan or Pathaan, it’s a flop in my eyes.

Also Animal wave is still strong. People want to see they right now.
