I got the feeling that you doesn't give the movie even a chance. Everything you enumerate gets a negative spin.

Dunki clearly is a movie with an ensemble cast which neither Fan nor Zero had...both movies (and Dilwale, JHMS wich you mentioned) had also been released after November 2015, the start of regular anti-SRK-movies campaigns demeaning the movies as much as possible (before and after the release).

Now, it's the same again...even postponing Salaar to get again a clash with Dunki (same BJP-lead-production firm, same distributor as in 2018, who btw. didn't get the wanted Jawan)...enough reasons to also see interests in demeaning Dunki.

Of course, you can be right in your prediction. It would be sad.

I would be happy if you're proven wrong, by the Indian audience and international one.

No dear, DUNKI in worst case scenario also won't be Disaster. At worst it might get 150 cr plus business for sure, initial rush kheench dega.

Hirani films doesn't create any buzz on large level but he has always delivered, let's see if he can pull off from this coz from trailer it's looking boring one especially the accent in which srk is delivering dialogues.

Salaar has to generate insane buzz for Dunki to score below 100 cr.

to be frank srk was not good in pathan and jawan either. he should find good scripts that suit his age and movies that suit todays sensibility.

I think you are going too extreme with the prediction, but I too feel this might underperform. The songs after Lutt Putt have been very thanda and the trailer was good, but not great

Also not digging SRK's brown untidy look.

Plus Hirani ki movies mein usually there is not much 'action' as far as I remember - here you have a lot of guns and car chase and things which seem a bit off for his brand of cinema

Here is hoping that Hirani had kept a very solid, emotional story hidden away from the trailer 🤞🏻

Interesting post. I noticed SRK mouthing his dialogues in the trailer too it was weird. But that’s a bold prediction. I think it will do lukewarm business like tiger. But don’t see it doing jawan business

I think this movie is going to be slow but steady wins the race. Unless Hirani really screwed up with the movie. As soon as movie has a good word of mouth it will pick up.

fan movie third act was bad. raeez was kinda above average and it collected 120 plus crores. jab harry met, zero and dilwale were not loved by fans or movie lovers. what are you talking ?

what has bjp done to these movies ? pathan and jawan ? look bro, indian hindus are not communal that is the reason why we have pathans and jawans. you guys are not defeating hindutva as you guys believe when pathan and jawan become successful. rather indian hindus are not communal like certain other the group, the sole reason why shahrukh and salman and aamir are huge stars and pathan and jawan are big hits.

learn to appreciate non communal people rather than whining.

hombale is bjp's company ?? never knew this and kgf was released with zero to dent zero's success ? kgf was only an underdog and an experimental film at that point of time and zero had the biggest star of the country.
