TRP is the very devil. They introduce unnecessary drama for TRP when the audience should be exposed to different genres.In a way I'm glad CJL introduced Dr.Arjun before Deva and Tara were a committed couple. And he isn't sickly sweet and honorable like the usual third lead.

Begusarai also had elements of Mahabharata. Vishal's Lakhan is obviously Bhim. Lakhan is also Dushasana when he drags Bindiya by her hair to the street, Mithilesh is Duryodhana, Priyom is Arjun, Lakhan's father is Vidur and Poonam is Draupadi who loves Arjun but is in turn passionately loved by Bhim. Bindiya is also Draupadi with the Cheerharan scene.

I was never ever convinced by Priom and Poonam's love. They indeed were great friends. But Love what we called was never there. Poonam was tired of Lakhan's obsession and odd sense of Cruelty. You have described their relationship so beautifully here. Dekho for Poonam she always thought that Lakhan is her future husband she has to keep him happy and do whatever he likes. She tried to accept her fate but his cruelty and obsession pusher her away. When her marriage was broken she was actually relieved and free and happy.

Priyom is a happy go lucky boy, good looking, flirty,witty always tries to makes her happy. That's why she thought her liking as love

After marriage when she knew how much lakhan loved her , he kept her ribbon with him , always waited for her one glimpse and bought a saree for her. Never hurt anyone for her love. How much he cared for her when her hand was burnt.

Then he took all beatings from dadaji for Poonam

She fell in love with him. You know it's easier to live with someone who loves you unconditionally rathan than with someone whom you love .

Yes they had no Keshav or Krishna Vadudeva to guide... Priyom and Bhusan did have elements of being Arjuna and Bidur but left unexplored.

They couldn't have a Krishna Vasudeva in the show. That side would automatically win. Just like in the movie Rajneeti. Bindiya advised Lakhan on tactics during the Poonam apaharan saga. So she could be Krishna or Shakuni depending on your pov.

Priyom-Poonam is a classic case of first-crush without the emotional maturity or deep feelings. As Poonam confesses to Priyom, Lakhan in his usual patriarchal avatar would have killed both Priyom and Poonam for 'infidelity'. He thought of Poonam as his wife. But that he chose to not to proves that he had feelings for her.

Then as you say his drunken confessions and the ribbon saga showed his sensitive side for the first time. Poonam got to understand that he was a human being who could be hurt just like others and not the invulnerable silent tough guy image he presents to the world. That he took the beating for her, just sealed the case.

Actually communication is the key. Which Lakhan-Poonam never had before their marriage. Both of them talked honestly about their feelings both positive and negative and opened up to their partner.

I wish And pray that channel gives them that much time and liberty. In case of Begusarai Makers got the time. They got married in episode -90 and Poonam start falling for him ar jiound episode 129 or 130 when Rats infested their room.Devra had immense potential and Tara is a strong woman These two need a little more time to get shaped up in their feeling. I am only scared that due to trp rush they shouldn’t make a slow burn lovestory something angsty and fiesty. Makers should be given enough time to build their characters arc fully.

Yesss... even I don't want them to confess love easily. Let them spend some time together, share their pains , sufferings with each other. Let Tara heal Deva's wounds. One step at a time.

Hope makers get enough time to show their love story properly . They are capable I know ,TRP badh Jaye bas.
