The episode begins with Armaan in disbelief that Abhira outdid Daadi sa and broke her record (in Rajasthani dressing up) , Daadi sa is seen fuming silently n glaring at Abhira , while the girl looks confused herself . All other family members fear Daadi’s wrath, and to add fuel to the fire one guest remarks that Kaveri ji now has some one to challenge her !
Abhira looks guilty . Armaan doubts the timer Krish, but he insists there wa sno mistake . The difference was 30 secs
next ritual was newly weds eating g out of the same thaali.
Roohi stares at Arman as she bites into Rohit’s half eaten laddoo, while Abhira refuses to eat jootha. She pushes his hand away n stands up. Daadi confronts her , Manisha explains. But Abhira protests she will not eat pati’s jootha , why only wives n not husbands ? Was this equality between partners ? Abhira speaks of scientific reasons for opposing this ritual, she refuses to do this ritual. Abhira Kaberi Daadi clash. Abhira wins and Daadi fumes , guests add fuel to the fire .
Armaan refuses to force rituals on Abhira if she is unwilling.
she runs off tk ehr room n feels depressed. She remembers her mumma’s words n ponders on them. She indulges in binge eating . She recollects all her mumma’s words.

Armaan a nd Roohi discuss how Abhira needs more time / Abhira is here for short while only/ Abhira will adjust soon. Rohit comes and interrupts . Rohit asks Armaan tk keep Abhira bhaabhi happy n suggests they go on honeymoon. Armaa n n Roohi feel awkward .

Charu and Kiara come to calm n console Abhira, they wipe her tears n appreciate her ideas.
Abhira helps Charu with her torn sleeve , she unpins her saree pleats n fixes the torn sleeve. Nanad thanks bhaabhi sa .
As they all reach the function venue , Armaan unknowingly bites into a pastry, Kiara happily exclaims Armaan had completed the ritual of couple eating same food . All are shocked , Abhira and Armaamfeel awkward . Sanjay and Maa sa fume that Poddar family men were eating biwi ke jootha. This Armaan was ahead of Madhav in shaming this family .

The next ritual is announced and all admire the beautiful ghoomar dance by Abhira and Roohi , Armaan and Daadi and the rest of the family feel proud . Soon Abhira’s pleats come loose.. … Daadi sa notices this but does not do anything to help the girl. Sure enough the pleats come off, Abhira trips on the saree and the matkies balanced on her head fall down n shatter. Her jeans and shoes are displayed. Guests taunt of the excessive display on the occasion of mooh dikhayi.

Daadi sa lashes out at Abhira . Madhav requests the guests to leave thanking them for visiting .
after guests leave Armaan tries to shield Abhira but Kaveri Daadi will have nothing of it . He is pushed aside as Kaveri vents out her anger on Abhira . Silences her as she tries tk explain. She is shamed. Accused of bringing disgrace to the family . Vidya too faces her wrath.

Abhira demonstrates how much her mother taught her . Wearing sarees was not essential, having survival skills in daily life, being independent without support was more essential. Daadi is rendered speechless as the store family looks at Abhira with appreciation.
