Question is did he audition for this role or was it just handed to him?

This movie was originally going to be done by Varun Dhawan and he seemed really excited about it too. I think the pandemic sort of delayed everything and then he either dropped out or got dropped. But I think he sort of mentioned in passing that he was too old to play this role, which honestly sounds like a cover and an excuse.

He’s got that web series with Samantha waiting to release. And he’s working on something produced by Atlee. And according to Pinkvilla a comedy directed by his dad starting next year.

I still want to know why he lost this movie though.
