The contestants were being unprofessional ..so i think his point was that with this attitude they will not get work..that is what this conversation came from as all of them were late

I agree, but telling them he is a big shot and all was not really necassary.. we know you are but I dont think you need to remind us. Plus its the people that made you big shot not like you did anything. Hiritik in my opnion is a way better actor than Salman but kismat Salman k paas hai...

Not possible to become huge star without putting in any hard work and that too for such a long time

Ofcourse its also because of fans but that goes for any celebrity

Plus his tone was not arrogant ...this season especially he is keeping it calm with the contestants ...

Actually he was not telling them he’s a big shot, more like he was giving them a heads up that they are screwing up chances to make a positive impact on people like Karan Johar for future job prospects. He was trying to get his message to hit home by using his own example so that they would get jolted into reality and straighten up for future important guests that could come to the show. Now if people want to take the advice negatively as he was showing off then that’s on them but I saw his intentions differently.

Thats what I use to hear when Gautam was around that after season gautam will get this or that. Gautam is no where to be found. I hardly saw gautam again after the season ended. All these false promises, future prospects with dharma production lmao is false hopes and nothing. Bollywood is full of nepo.. tell me one contestanr from BB season that made it huge in bollywood after their season ended and no Shehnaz doesnt count. She is no where to be found in bollywoid industry. In fact I have seen actors/contestants careers going down after doing BB. Agar kahi Salman se kar diya panga WKW pe samjho career gayi tel lene

This is the same guy that says aye ga aye ga anay wala to Isha but yet says main abhishek ko nichor deta. Aye ga implies she has many BF's so he can say that without any hesitation..

no one is promised stardom. They are told to show their talent, work ethics on the show and work will follow. Expecting these celebrity contestants to make it huge is ridiculous. They all come to BB for exposure because their career is at a point where they need more work. Their serials are over or they want to enter movies/tv and are looking to be noticed by bigwigs. If they are going to show vile personalities, lack of respect for punctuality etc then no production house will want to hire nobodies who already have huge egos and airs about themselves.
honestly, I’m so tired of the nepo argument because in any industry people will look to advance their own first. Bollywood is not unique. Hollywood, Tollywood etc all do it. Nag Chaitanya, Ram Charan, mahesh Babu etc all come from film families. Martin Sheen, Kirk Douglas, Stallone, Willis, Streep all have kids who have entered Hollywood. So let’s not go on the nepo morcha.
