There were tasks but used to be one day tasks. Season 7 had a long task but that was just 1 or 2 times in the whole season. They started repeating that afterwards. I don’t recall S5 and S6 having any long tasks. There was 1 luxury budget task and 1 sponsor task. It is pretty much the same now too.

Bro I remember how that snake wala task in season 13 changed the dynamics in the house and we had Bahu gang versus Saas gang - the groups formed after that. Then that bori wala task - where Asim went against Sid openly. Whoa - tasks achche ho plus contestants - to BB13 jaisa blockbuster season ban sakta hai. BB13 turned out to be an iconic season.

Similarly, Vikas Gupta playing in tasks in season 11 - turned out to be another good season - and credits did go to tasks a lot that season.

These are the two seasons where I was invested the most. And both were heavily based on tasks.

Maybe you are liking it. But I am not enjoying any bit of it. They are doing the same which they did in BB15 ( barring tasks and it flopped badly). I remember, how they had set a narrative to eliminate Donal that season and weak house-mates went with the same narrative. Same is happening this season.

Yeah they are similar but shalin handled BB and sallu so well na. Usko har week bash karty thy phir bhi usney aisy aisy characters play kiya ky entertaining bhi laga aur iski image bhi clean hogayi.

Vicky ky saath toh yeh horaha hai ky uski clean image kharab kar rahy hain, if he will handle the way shalu did then i would say that he is a good player.

I don’t remember any tasks that lasted for over a day. There were definitely more tasks than this season but were still heavy on drama as compared to tasks.

Man, BB's core element is task and confession room nominations. You take out them, it will lose out half of its authenticity. Not everything has to be renovated. Some things need to be kept as it is..
