The thing is kartik couldn't move on from naira when she was assumed to be dead for 5 years . So it was stupidity to show kartik moving on with sirat also, what I feel is kartik moved on with sirat only because her face resembles naira otherwise I don't think he would ever consider sirat knowing how obsessed kartik was about naira because vedika was there around him for years he didn't bother about her anytime even after their wedding he cared the least about her. But sirat came and he was quick to accept her. Yes kairav played a big role here tho. So In my pov moving on with a person because she is ur wife's lookalike doesn't put forward a good message. This does not signify a social message about remarriage at the same time kaira had sad ending. Even makers feel sirat was a bad idea because I dint think she was much highlighted in gen3 as everyone was only talking about kaira and how abhira resembles kaira. There was a whole episode showing kaira wedding in gen 3, akshu remembering only kaira during her wedding and in the new house there was only kairas photo no sirats photo. So what was the whole point of bringing in sirat as so far sirat and her successors only bought troubles and sadness in the life of main leads .

Remarriage is not equal to polygamy is not equal to infidelity. The first one is deviation from patriarchy and the latter two are disgusting betrayal and abuse of someone's trust. Patriarchal ideals should be broken especially in popular media

If you say that itv is an escape from reality then, by that logic, remarriages should be celebrated by itv fandoms since precisely they are so rare. How many people in your colony/area/social group remarried without any opposition by the society?

I, for one, see far more people stuck in abusive marriages or restrictive widowhoods than I see remarriage.

Many ppl used to spend hours in analyzing each and every epi with hope that some positive tracks are coming but literally they got nothing in return.

Actually speaking manish goenka is the ultimate villain.

He got married to swarna soon after kartiks mothers death. He never considered his children's feelings at that time. Swarna did the worst with her son and guilt trapped kartik.

After nairas death he was the one who decided to keep kartik and children away from each other.

After a husband loses his wife his ultimate support system is his children and Manish ideology was absolute nonsense

This lead kairav going to boarding school leading to sirat fiasco

Moreover keeping akshu away from family for something she didn't do was the worst.

Mansi killed akshara but she was forgiven easily but akshu didn't even kill sirat she fell on her own and that to due to sirats carelessness and y was akshu blamed.

Arohi too. Y akshu blamed . Sending his pregnant daughter away with her small son was the worst thing a father can ever do.

Kairas separation all the time was not because they had issues with each other but it was because of misunderstandings created by kdadi, or swarna or manish.

Kirti lived a better life because of singhanias whereas kaira suffered because of goenkas

10 months tak false narratives push kiya about ML,made FL fall for a cameo, FL was irresponsible, vile and obnoxious. Audience lost connect. Third angle is not new to ITV. They add spice to the leads’ story. Idhar leads ko hi villain bana diya. If star hadn’t intervened to change tracks, the show would have shut shop a lot earlier.

No sane audience will want to watch their shows again. Dkp has fired most of their old team which was actually responsible for delivering high TRP tracks. Let zama and aarif sit and watch their own show now since they have claimed to not write for audience.
