Katha might again leave Viaan without any hesitation in the name of sacrifice playing the mother cardNow,I always feel looking at the mother-son dynamics...it is far better that both stay together with each other.Raghav too needs to save himself from their pagalpan and stay away!!

They should have ended season 1 here and then come back for season 2! Whatever happened today, how do you just resolve it all in 2 episodes without it coming across as entirely forced and unbelievable?

If I were the writer, the ending scene would have been Viaan and Teji at the airport saying their goodbyes to Ehsan and Vanya and boarding the plane for Paris. Season 2 would have begun after a couple of years' leap with Viaan returning to India. Raghav and Katha co-parenting Ruhi and Aarav who were both in some hostel. But the flashback would reveal that they actually didn't get married, and it was Raghav who came to his senses and broke off their relationship. They both decided to stay friends for their kids, and are actually involved a lot in each other's lives. But even after breaking up, katha didn't went back to Viaan because it was simply better this way than doing this push and pull with him, and getting out or inserting themselves in his life on whims. They would have met again and this time started with a clean slate. No mistakes, no past, actually taking it slow instead of rushing it and doing everything right this time.

Also, Viaan coming back with a French NRI girlfriend, totally committed and ready to marry her before stumbling across Katha again would have been quite funny

That might be a good storyline for some other show but, not for KA. USP of this show had been internal struggles of humans and how open communication was essential in solving the issues. Most of this show was dealing internal struggles while Katha and Viaan's love story was at centre of all this.

For me, storyline is destroyed. This might have been a good track if internal struggles of Katha were displayed properly. They displayed Viaan's trauma and turmoil properly but, they gave one liners to Katha which are very forgettable. I remember them because I am a fan of this show. Instead of one liners of Katha like "Raghav came into Aarav's life because I was unable to fill in the void created", "You don't know how much I struggled with Aarav in last 8 months", "I tried my best to convince Aarav but, he wasn't convinced", "He saw so much violence and betrayal that he got into a state of shock from which he was unable to recover", I would have liked to see her fail to fill the void, I would have liked to see her struggle in 8 months, I would like to see her try to convince Aarav but, fail, I would like to see Aarav going into state of trauma and shock as he witnesses the activity in the surroundings - Kailash got shot, Robin went to jail, Kailash died, all happiness which came into his life collapsed like a domino. At the top of all this, I wanted to see Katha's fear towards the dark night which got revived and she is running away from everything. Running away from Viaan, Grewals and her past. Her breakdown and destruction should have been shown in great detail. And, for once, I wanted her keep grudge against Teji. At the end of the day, she is responsible for everything.

For once, I wanted Katha to question Viaan instead of Vaanya. "Let's assume Aarav is convinced when he meets you but, what about the time when he realizes the truth? That his father did all this with his mother and his mother had to go through all this to treat him and get money for him". Sorry to say, this truth is not same as the story of how babies are conceived. Reproduction process is a reality while what Viaan did is a crime or what Katha did is prostitution. Both of these things are disgusting to listen. Viaan will say that like all fans "Who is going to reveal it to Aarav?" to this Katha should question him "Who could have revealed this truth? The confidential matter between two people came out and you expect that when this truth is out there in full glory with all the proofs. When Aarav realizes the truth I don't know what will be his reaction. He might go into depression and will never be able to forgive you. Honestly, if first place Aarav SHOULDN'T KNOW THE TRUTH".

After this, Viaan might have realized the complexity of the situation and instead decided to help Aarav and Katha because at the end of the day, it was his family who ruined everything. And, after a healing track for Aarav then, they can either decide to part away understanding their situation or, live togather.

One may say that what is this synopsis? Two lovers unable to reunite. Honestly, this is how harsh reality is. There are many such love stories which are unfulfilled because of the circumstances. One must realize that this truth is not some 'storm' but a 'bomb'. No matter how strong your house is, how much you prepare beforehand, a bomb will destroy it no matter how strong the foundation is. And, after the house is destroyed, it will take time to rebuild and when it is rebuilt, it will never be the same. A house might survive a storm but, not a bomb. Katha unable to conceive was a storm but, because it was handled with open communication they survived it. In other households, it will be end of the relationship but, they fought for their love. Viaan fought more while Katha was guilt ridden for betraying him and expressed her desire to live with him.

We already got the synopsis of this storyline. This forbidden love story is possible. If this truth wasn't revealed in public, Katha and Viaan would have married happily. They were ready to fight Teji for their love even though, she was against them. Neither she nor Viaan gave up on their love against all odds. However, at the end of the day Katha is a mother not just a lover. Katha fought Maya till it was limited to her but, once she attacked her child, she was unable to fight it. Sorry to say Viaan is even useless against this truth. Maya was able to spread truth this easily, wouldn't have taken much time for her to spread it to Aarav as well. Next, she can go to Earthcon office as well.

This could have happened if the makers had planned ahead, stuck to a set storyline with plans for season 2 already decided. Then they could have shown all the things you mentioned. Frankly, the 8 months leap was badly done. Writing just failed there. They hurried through the whole thing with just a couple of flashbacks and those were also focused on Aarav and Raghav than anything else. What about everyone else?

I would have loved to see a Katha-Teji conversation too. Katha telling Teji that her regrets were meaningless because things had already gone to shit, and nothing could be undone now, and it was impossible to go back to how things were. Some scene with the Garewals too. A katha- Viaan scene in jail was also important. She should have been shown visiting him once even if it was to break things off. It irritates me so much when she says aapko nhi pata maine Aarav ko kaise sambhala hai. Aapko nhi pata woh kaisa tha and blah blah. Yeah he doesn't know- because you didn't tell him. Those 8 months you spent building a new life and pretending he didn't exist, then spent the next 3-4 months avoiding him and hiding from him while lying to everyone. Use kaise pata chalega kya hua when you never told him??!

ONS revelation was bound to happen sooner or later. I was expecting it, was kinda excited too to see how they would handle it. In a way I was happy it happened before they could get married because in the OG it had ruined everything and had led to their divorce. I was glad that wouldn't be possible here and that it would be dealt with in the beginning only. Par yahan to sab ulta hi kar diya. For one thing, everyone came to know about it which was honestly unnecessary. They should have kept this between the senior garewals only like the OG. Secondly it was revealed as part of some saazish, unlike the OG where it was accidental. It became public knowledge which would honestly spook any woman. Par kya hi sochna ab. So many ways the story could have gone and they chose the worst possible route.

First of all nice episode. Aditi, Adnan were yet again fantastic. Manish is finally able to show his skills still mediocre but, its bearable. Felt like this is the KA except with confusing and unconvincing progressions.

So, at the end, Katha is proved to be the traitor in this relationship. Katha saying Bhagne se kuch nahi hoga. Look at the irony. . But, immediately corrected herself.

Don't know why I even thought so much about this character. Looks like I was moron all along. And Aarav taking a full U-turn. Such pathetic characters they have become

Honestly, don't want to get too critical because at the end of the day this is the forced ending. It will be garbage
