She is taking Hindi classes to act in Hindi movies because Hinglish/colloquial Hindi won't be enough for the movies. Isn't that what trollers always claim they want star kids to do? Actually work for it instead of assuming audience will watch no matter what they do.

She's still entitled to use her own language to communicate off the sets. Mumbai Hinglish. She doesn't need to put on a fake persona (which I think she does anyway, but she doesn't have to).

Meh, I could care less about whichever language she speaks off screen. I was referring to her on screen promotional stuff and interviews so far. And the interviews would have Hinglish, promotional stuff like that Diwali ad would have been rehearsed. You could just see that Khushi by hearted her Hindi part and spoke like a robot in one breath, if you compare it with Mihir's. We don't see Suhana even doing that. That part is perplexing to me.

As for the bolded part, conversational Hindi is enough. That's what I've been going on about. Alia is supposed "Meryl Streep" of BW and best actor according to cough*KJo*cough, and she has a terrible diction. Deepika had over a decade of a career and her Hindi still has that South Indian drawl.

Lol, whichever it be, I'm waiting for her to speak in Hindi. It would become pretty clear at that point as to why and what stopped her from conversing in Hindi for so long.

Once again, what you're saying is your source said she can't communicate in Hindi. There is a diff between that and a diction tutor. Which is why I'm saying your source is exaggerating.

I am not saying she knows 0 Hindi. I'm saying she's below average/which is awful for an actress.

I would think my source is exaggerating if Suhana spoke in Hindi. But she is not. She is the only one from the Archies cast that has not spoken in Hindi off the cuff. Her character is the only one with majority English lines, which makes sense because it's Veronica.

Until you realize Zoya initially wanted Suhana for Betty. The first nepo cast in the Archies adaptation was actually Ananya Panday for Veronica!

But the director of Call Me Bae switched out Kareena (who he thought was too old) for Ananya, to appeal to Gen Z. Ananya wants to work with Motwane so she jumped to him.

So Zoya kept looking for her Veronica, until she realized Suhana's Hindi wasn't great, and obviously to accomodate for her, she gave her Veronica, and switched the other nepo role, for Betty. Rohit Roy's daughter was initially approached for Betty. Then the other Kapoor got it.

This is also why at the Tira Beauty launch, Kareena was ignoring Suhana. Kareena had NO reason otherwise to ignore Suhana/Ananya/their friends. Thanks to Ananya Panday, Kareena lost out on a Motwane project. And was Ananya really worthy of it?
