But there is a vast difference in the 80s - 90s cinema to present day. Back then dialogues used to be in shuddh Hindi. Now it's Hinglish at best, and sometimes just English. Gone are the days when actors had to recite a lengthy monologue in movies. Conversational Hindi with a somewhat decent diction is what the present gen is debuting with. Sonam, Alia, Deepika etc are not proficient Hindi speakers as well.

It also explains why Suhana's launch was not earlier. Gauri/SRK did not want Aryan and Suhana's launch to happen in the same year, but that is what is happening now. Suhana auditioned for Ms Marvel or whatever a very long time ago. Like 2019.

For one, the person would actually have to be an SRK insider to know what kind of tutor. I would say the person is exaggerating his or her own importance because that much of an insider who would know deets about the tutor wouldn't leak.

Secondly, Ms. Marvel is in English. She wouldn't need Hindi for it.

Heck, even literal kids (as opposed to star kids) I know who do local theater in the middle of the cornfields of Illinois do diction classes with coaches. They speak English. Midwestern English. Which won't work for Shakespeare or regular Broadway-type shows.

There's a difference between that and not knowing how to communicate in that language.

Clearly not many do it now a days which is why they grate on our poor ears when they open their mouths. Just take any so called A list actor, they all have such poor diction and dialogue delivery. For ex, Alia in Rocky Rani was terrible with her mumbayya Hindi when she was supposedly playing a Delhi born Bengali Cambridge returned high flying literate. They don’t do any basic homework on their characters. Ulta they take pride in not putting in any prep work like as if acting just flows out of their genes or something. Just yelling and dressing up impeccably like a model is what it seems they take acting for.

That is true. But she is King Khan's kid! She will be expected to know at least average Hindi. I said earlier that Suhana has the most to lose from Archies - people are watching it for her only. The others already had a sister or uncle launched who took the brunt of the hate.

People like Suhana because they think she's better than the other Ananya, Shanaya, panini types. If she's the same (and Hindi is a part of that), then she will lose a lot of her favorability.

Like she has an Ad with Kiara and Kareena....both are loved by the Hindi audience. Look at the numbers Sid/Kiara's wedding/Karva Chawth did pull. Kareena's OTT release smashed Alia's record. That's a lot of pressure on a newbie. She'll be compared to them.

I would totally believe that Suhana has a Hindi tutor for improving her diction.....but that is different from perpetuating a lie that she doesn't know Hindi......If one is serious about Hindi movies....then the least they can do is get their diction correct.....warna like Hema Malini they will be speaking Punjabi in a Southern accent......

See, there is a difference between that and not communicating in the language. If Hinglish is what everyone uses in that town, they're going to grow up speaking Hinglish. Are non-star kids claiming to be proficient in shuddh Hindi? Somehow doubt it.

This is why aspiring actors take diction classes. It's part of learning acting. On one hand, star kids are trolled for being entitled and not doing any homework. On the other, when they're actually doing work, they're getting trolled for what exactly? Not doing it earlier? Not growing up knowing they want to pursue acting and therefore not learning it along the way?

Is there anything she hasn’t been trained in? So far her fans are celebrating her acting training, diction training, roller blading training, eye rolling training and dancing training. Oh wait - she also did some face training too aka Plastic Surgery. Google it.
