There seem to be no "relationship" with his father actually. The father seems oblivious of what has gone wrong with son.

So, whatever it is....it seems to be one-sided.

What I liked in the trailer is that there will be a background story to Ranbir's character, which will (hopefully) provide some explanation and justification to his character.

But since its a Vanga film, everything wrong will be "glorified".

Just going by that first scene of the trailer, Ranbir's character seems to have been neglected by his father in childhood resulting in deep-seated issues. It also suggests there has been verbal abuse. I think that's what manifests all this since he's starved for affection, and believes worshipping and protecting his father would win him his love.

Ranbir could have just gone to a therapist instead of making a film about it

I am not impressed by the trailer. I do think movie will do well, since the main character is toxic and mentally unstable and it is justified as "love for his father". The song at the end is just gross for such a violent character.

Ranbir looks puffy in certain parts smiley36 Bobby looks good.

Best dialogue: You are fighting goons in your head do you realize that?

That was a little crazy and a little emotional. The type of film I'll probably end up liking.. RANBIRRR and Lord Bobby 🔥

I think I am missing something here. What is wrong with calling your father, Papa ?

Same.

It could also be the Hindu Swastika. But the dialogue he says there and the way he's mobilising the crowd saying maar dalenge, cheer dalenge and the crowd going wild doesn't sound so good.

On another note, Vanga seems to have deliberately upped the notch in violence and gore this time after Kabir Singh was panned for its toxicity. More than Balbir Singh in the movie, Vanga needs help.

Yeah I zoomed in and looks like Swastika. It seems like that scene was deliberately put to create controversy.
