Punjabi Music Lately....

i think punjabi music lately is not that good! like older times the music was pure punjabi now all punjabi music is too westernized?

what do you think?

well they still make desi type music even today.. but most young dont quite like the style...because some grew up in westernise places they used to that sort of style.... when i was growing up.. when UK actually started their bhangra industry it was still punjabi bhangra based... the style whic they used.. but as people got older the demand changed an people like the sort of stuff that gets played in clubs... but i think artist are trying to hit all markits really they have verious different moods... which doesent really make the album sucessful... new comers... MOB inc - MI Family based in birmingham... their mood is very different from the type that their dads used to make... im guessing their sons would have a different style... as things keep changing.. but bhangra is not dead not in india for sure.. they still doo hardcore but just doesent get out to the other markets.. maybe the famous people do only... but their are soo many people with good vocles an djz just distory it all with these new style beats hip hop bakwas.. uff... for me it aint good... need to drop the DJ system n pick up a dhol tumbi desi style... always works..... well for me anyways... not sure as everyone as a whole... but people will surely differ.. because of the age n moods people mainly like.... but i can go on n on 😃

Yeah I agree with you. It not really pure punjabi anymore and that kind of really bother me. But I still think there are some good songs coming out.

this took me 10yrs to read!😆 and i agree with you!! like it depends on where you live and what kind of punjabi music is played because in UK is prabally diff from like US right!
