Sanam also happened before that Pakistani actors ban so Mawra was actually in india for the films poster and trailer launch and she and the lead actor did a few interviews together. Even after the film came out Mawra was in india doing interviews with people like Bollywood hungama obsessing over Ranbir . If that ban didn’t happen she was very focused on Bollywood .

The only good thing about that movie was the male lead who did a good job and is like the tall dark handsom kind of guy. Otherwise it s a snoozefest of a drama but it does have a cult following.

Their chemistry was good but the story was kinda okay. But still people like the movie even today and also it's songs. They were brain soothing specially the title track.

There were rumours that Mawra & Harshvardhan Rane (the ML) had a thing for each other.

Saba & Sajal are the only 2 Pakistani actresses whom I believe were able to use their acting skills in Pak industry to an advantage & get a chance to work in good Bollywood movie with a relevant script & relatable character.

I wish Bilal Abbas gets a chance in future.

Some only understand when they experience it.

Her marriage was the last thing to happen..hope she is now mature enough to handle such situations...

Women in abusive/toxic marriages even after 22-30 yrs of staying under the same roof don't understand this level of manipulation/ unable to get out of it. It's too complex.

Yes. Saba and sajal got the best roles out of everyone who went to bwood. Saba's role was as important as Irfan khan and she managed to stand on her own in front of someone like him and the story of mom revolved around what happened to sajal's character.

Pak actors were banned around the same time billu darling debuted. So he didn't get any chance. Even if he gets one in the future I hope it's with directors who give acting scope to the actors and not mass movies of Dharma or yrf.

Ya, Bilal's timing was kinda bad but anyways he is still doing very good for himself in Pak dramas. In terms of films he needs to do a good one. Not the usual naach gana but a proper, serious character like Saba did a Kamli which is relatable.

Bilal said in an IV that he likes the work of Vishal Bharadwaj and also he will do well in Raj DK directed drama or web series.

Dharma /yrf movies very few people can pull of honestly. Even Alia- Ranveer's movie was okayish.

There won't be another SRK-Rani-Kajol how much ever other actors try it or Kjo tries to over promote Alia. Also Dharma/yrf's movies require lot of dancing which majority Pak actors aren't good or comfortable.

I have seen only Hammad shoaib dancing so well in someone's wedding. His dance video was shared by many well known wedding pages of India. I guess even Farah Khan also shared it in her account.

Sajal and Jennifer Winget have similar luck when it comes to love life..both are good looking, talented actresses but chose the wrong men. Once you have a bad experience, it is hard for some people to start afresh even if you have moved on.

True..but glad they chose their own happiness and today they are at a much happier space and very confident about themselves, their life & career.

Not everyone could do it many years back eg : Hema Malini, zeenat aman, Jaya. They were wronged at so many levels.
