I mean....he mostly tries to replicate Akira Kurosowa's style of cinematography and his plots are either inspired from the epiics or the Godfather

He gives out one good movie and the next 5 would be complete duds

He is a great director but he shouldn't have touched an epic like Ponniyn Selvan

Should just stick to making romantic movies , that's his forte ( some of his movies are problematic too)

But even MR took creative liberties and showed that the Draupadi of that movie loved Karna and then went to Arjun....what twisted version of MB is this?
