KWK Kareena & Alia - Episode Discussion

I didn’t see anyone talking about this episode yet. So …

I never thought I would say this about Kareena Kapoor in any setting but she was genuinely the calmest, nicest, and most articulate of the three. She also seemed like she was done with the show and KJo. Didn’t seem too crazy about Alia either.

Alia was actually extra obnoxious than usual but I honestly thing because she was trying to come across as cool and unbothered. I do think she was nervous. She was talking super fast and was hard to understand at times. She kept interrupting Bebo and KJo. And she was getting kind of loud and also frustrated but was trying to hide her frustration, specifically when talking about Ranbir and trolling, and biggest female star question.

The first 25-30% of the show was pretty much about Ranbir. First as a father and then both KJo and Alia pretended that they were done talking about Ranbir and used that as a fake segue into all the latest trolling. It all ended with Alia saying he’s the opposite of a toxic man 👀

KJo was using the same tricks but with regards to Alia and her being the best 🙄. Questions like are you the biggest star or who you think is the biggest star which he asked both Kareena and Alia in some variation.

Alia also used Sid and Varun’s name to say that they call KJo everyday. She actually said KJo either gets a call from Sid or Varun all the time. I’m not sure what the purpose was. Just to use their names or to imply that they’re asking KJo for movies everyday? But of course at the end her KJo signed off by saying they talk everyday .

Ohh and Kareena didn’t take Kjo’s Ameesha Patel bait.

I am not surprised that they spent alot of the episode talking about rk and addressing all the trolling he got, I mean its not even his episode but it was spent praising him and alia saying how amazing of a person, husband and father he is. They even spoke about how he deals with failures, kjo would specifically ask alia questions about him. Very smart move by rk, dont appear on the show but make sure you are spoken about positively, the only issue being that kjo and alia made it so obvious what they were trying to do.

Its like the previous seasons kwk with alia where most of the episode was spent talking about alia and rks relationship.

I am watching the episode now on 1.5 speed. Alia is just talking nonstop. I want to hear Kareena speak!

I wasn’t expecting it to be loaded either. It’s already Thursday in India so maybe that’s why.

Seems like this year’s KWK is scripted by KJO to make Deepika and Alia expose themselves so that finally people can see how Ranbir actually tolerated them instead of being the red flag. I honestly feel bad for him now, imagine Alia ke saath he’s spending lone times and with her screechy nasal voice too

Oh yea that one was kind of bizarre. Why bring up Ranbir and failure in any context right now? Specially when his PR is trying to claim Brahmstra and TJMM as hits. She used Shamshera as an example but still 🤷🏽‍♀️

Interestingly enough Brahmstra wasn’t mentioned in any capacity whatsoever. I didn’t expect them to say it underperformed or anything. But they didn’t even mention it as some big multiverse astra VFX success story. KJo has completely washed his hands of that project.
