His base is with people who might like his movies but like other stars more. His reputation in overseas is that he makes quality movies and he only does not do many movies. He’s very moody. Regarding Salman khan he’s a superstar because the audience made him one and people love him and he not only as an awesome base in india but overseas as well and that includes literate educated people( I bring this point because people thing only certain group likes him. In overseas most like all the Khans but will only see movies that worth their while. Majority in overseas are neutral audience and Tiger3 types movies appeal to them.

Tiger 3 is heading another big day as collections head towards the 40 crore nett plus mark. It could even head towards the opening day number ora little higher depending on single screens as they will not drop much from Monday especially the areas which were dull on the first day.

The national holiday was on Monday but it was not like that normal big Diwali holiday due to this extra day so the film will do around 95 crore nett in these two days while it would have been 65-70 crore nett if the big holiday was over just one day.

It has the bonus day which has added extra business but there are the cricket matches in the way now. The first will be tomorrow which will affect collections on Bhai Dooj where the core Hindi circuits are normally strong. So there is a good chance that the extra business which it has got will be taken away especially if there is a second match on Sunday and there is a god chance of that..

The film will be standing at around 140 crore nett after 3 days which is a huge number and possibly even the third highest ever despite not releasing on a good day for release but now its about how it plays out over the next five days till Sunday and how much these matches take out of the film.

Underperformance is coming because Pathaan, Gadar and Jawan all the big releases have churned bigger numbers and Tiger films are bigger than the above films I believe, especially since Pathaan and Tiger are from same universe. But as I said the release date is the fix here, YRF and Salman did not calculate wisely, the lifetime is going to be not much higher than TZH which released in 2018 I guess, so you can do the math. Otherwise the movie is obviously a super hit and there is no confusion there. It is just in comparison with other biggies it is underwhelming given the spy universe and Salman factor

the biggest problem is like you said Salman ki credibility pe bada dent laga hai due to his last few memeworthy films esp amongst the multiplex audience and the irony is that this is more of a multiplex film rather than a SS which is his alley. Nonetheless it should be a big BB.

Honestly agar Salman woh ghatiya film KBKJ nahi karta toh maybe curiosity factor for Tiger 3 would be more, as you said it is a multiplex movie and plex people do not want to waste money in meme worthy content but again this director I had always doubt too, I wonder why did Adi Chopra choose 2-3 film old Maneesh Sharma for such a biggie? If direction is not crisp no way it is a good thing, and now he has Ayan for War 2, Allah jane kya hoga, for such stylish action movies they needed Sid Aanand only, especially if Hrithik is the hero, for Salman Kabir Khan was awesome, but nahi they had to bring in lallus to direct the biggest spy universe
