but obviously this kind of bashing an until now successful movie gets takers (p.6 already, but did not read, it's just my opinion about what this member likes to do...)

1. It's definitely an underwhelming number. Post Diwali day is the biggest day for Hindi Cinema business. Third part of a successful franchise should have done more when Pathaan did this much in a non-holiday (opening day).

2. SRK is currently 1-5 and can't be matched anymore, thus it's a very good number for a non-SRK film.
One of the these is true. Both can't be true at the same time.

It’s not always necessary to understand everything. But we cannot deny the facts. And Salman’s megastardom is a fact. His megastardom is only comparable with SRK’s. Amir has no holding on audience’s love like these 2 have. And to some extent HR too has that.
When you have people listing you the reasons of why they love someone, that cannot bring Megastardom. It has to be illogical and unconditional. People love Bhaijaan for reasons beyond your or my understanding. For Aamir they have reasons. And it will limit his stardom only to them. Indians at large think and do things from heart. So yeah, not understanding is normal. But it’s there. 
as u said Amir khan does not have the craze like the other khans and he don’t even care on that. He boycotted the film fraternity long back he don’t go out to greet fans nor he as his own base. His base is with people who might like his movies but like other stars more. His reputation in overseas is that he makes quality movies and he only does not do many movies. He’s very moody. He took a break at a time when his personal life was in turmoil. He returned and his movies started making records like 3 idiots whose record took years to break and even when it was broken within months he made another record. It was not till a south movie came along and crushed it and since then he hasn’t made any record. I think his personal life in turmoil again too. Now he’s just low key. Yet nobody is waiting on Amir to come back because he don’t have a base. Regarding Salman khan he’s a superstar because the audience made him one and people love him and he not only as an awesome base in india but overseas as well and that includes literate educated people( I bring this point because people thing only certain group likes him. In overseas most like all the Khans but will only see movies that worth their while. Majority in overseas are neutral audience and Tiger3 types movies appeal to them.
