DOTW:Wild Card Round Fair or Unfair?

A person who always gets highest votes even after giving bad/good performance might get eliminated on that particular day due to his low scores or votes. A participant who doesn't perform well stays in the competition while the one who gives best get eliminated so don't they deserve a chance but what about other participants who came uptill here is it fair to them.

So what are your views on Wild Card round, are they fair or unfair?

i think that it is unfair because the public have voted for their two favorite teams so if you have wildcard whats the point of the public voting because you are just ignoring their choice then they don't vote in the final because they think the winner has already been chosen and thus the two teams who worked hard to get the final lose out on votes

i think its fair

there were dancers who really did dance well but got eliminated due to lack of popularity. First, i was going to be against WC because i thought it was the people who would get to choose... (They would obviously vote for their favourite team)

Then Smriti mentioned that there are two judges who will get to choose the best one.

Now we will know who was the best dancing team among the eliminated teams...

i just hope the judges are fair! 😉

life's not fair!

it's fair....i have 2 reasons:

1) there are some deserving participants who shud have been in top 3 or 2... 😃

2)i dont want the show to end! 😛 😆 so i will be happy with wild card if it can stretch the show 😉 😆

I'm sure that these questions will get different responses from different people.

Now that it is happening, after looking at the selection process, I think that the round is as fair as it can be. All the eliminated teams are included, and the judges will decide which team will go through - therefore the wildcard entry will be chosen on merit 👍🏼

I'm of the opinion that wildcard rounds are fair if they have been agreed on at the start and that the participants are aware that it will happen. I'm not really a fan of impromtu wildcards. However, if they do happen impromtu style, then like in this case, I think the selection should happen with judges, and that all teams should have a chance 👍🏼

Impromto or not the only thing that bothers me is if like Jhalak its only for 2 contestents if like nach baliye and this shows its for all contestents that are eliminated it makes it fair and then no problem why their should not be 😊

If they got eliminated because of low votes theirs a small chance they will be voted back in anyways on this basis really.

Well I guess it depends on the format....

If they chose the show to be run on Public voting, they should be sticky to that even in WC round...and if they want the show to be run on Judge's marks, then that should be applied to WC round also....But it's certainly weird that YHJ is based on Votings, and only on WC, it's on Judge's marks basis....

And also Judge's who are not a regular part of the show....It may happen for various reasons that a team which is giving consistent performance throughout, for some reason, couldnt give their best shot that day....then he/she will be out !! 😕 And a team, who doesnt do that good throughout, just may give their best at that very day and can enter !! But that certainly degrades the peformnace of the consistent team !!

Anyways - but here, on performance basis, YHJ got the best Team again !! Hussain and KKK were the BEST team to be entered !! 👏 👏
