This guy is really creative....he deserves his own running show as Parody Anupama....it's more entertaining than the actual show

LOL ek time tha jab log Mills and Boon inspired shows ka mazaak banaate the but aaj ITV ki jo GUTTER haalat ho gayi hai with ekdum ghatiya gaslighting storylines, uske comparison mein toh Mills and Boon ka cheesy romance bhi Oscar-worthy lagta hai ab
Baaki toh yeah it's very obvious that Deva is inspired from brooding M&B heroes....lol but unlike Gul shows, his taunts are more reproachful and relatively softer than vicious like Gul heroes do.
LOL these two dorks are still the same.....Ankit is such a joker

Happy Diwali 🪔🪔🪔guys:))
I actually found that line so ironic from the LG
.....such a sense of hubris with the presumption that the so called "civilized" humans are the ones CHANGING to evolve in order to survive while presuming the Orakas are just sitting ducks.....lol not a thought spared for the fact that it is the Orakas who have survived longer on these islands than the city people
Lol thats true , he should have been the one who knows how the Orakas have a solid edge on this terrain , so chances of their survival are pretty high. But I guess in weighing the pros and cons and saving thousands instead of few made his brains freeze.

I just finished watching the series yesterday too and I feel the series mainly picked up from epi 3....after that I was gripped enough to binge-watch it. In the post Covid world, watching a series about an epidemic can feel like deja vu and also predictable in some ways but this series went beyond just focusing on the illness or the cure and instead became a more reflective human story before anything else.
The reflective and more spiritual approach is what I liked in the story too. It was like watching how different people react to the same situations and how their decision affect so many lives.
I did feel Priyanshu was wasted in yet another role.....the guy just can't catch a break....they gave him a random role which didn't have much of an arc in the series and he was gaayab for most of it....lol they also killed off Mona Singh in the first epi only and anyone could have played her role since they didn't let her impact the overall story that much.
After watching the series I feel they just got her name linked to get some eyeballs, as there were not any big names🤷♀️. Priyanshu got the short end of the stick:(
Jyotsana wala angle I found tiresome in bits....just I was warming up to her arc, it got dumb in the end again with that Kaddu ka father choking her to death....lol like seriously Jyotsana thought a father that desperate who had already lost the rest of his family will calmly agree to not let his daughter go on that boat? Reason and logic had left the platform a long time back.
That was the dumbest thing she did, the more he kept pleading the more firm she got about letting the authorities know. I was like behen agree to whatever he says and do what you got to do.
Other than that I liked how she got over some fears and trauma in the face of difficulty.
Orakas and Chiru wala angle actually got the most emotional depth....casting was very good too and I was amazed they made the effort to cast African actors and give them dignified roles than stereotype them with caricatures as they do in Indian movies/shows.
WORD!! Chiru got the best arc and got to play different shades and the best arc. Orakas were my favorite people , I also googled to check if they are real and found there indeed is a tribe called Sentinel living on the Islands which are the last remaining contactless tribe. Finally an Indian show that did not fall prey to any stereotypes.
Overall the show was a reflective study on nature and evolution.....every character in the story evolved for the better or worse and struggled to survive on their own levels.
One surprising arc for me was that of Kadam....lol his only act of goodness in the very end to let that Ritu go and then him having a meltdown that did he randomly fall in love now of all times?
.....and that Ritu wala angle also left so open ended and vague about whether they will even find the plant to make the cure....lol was kinda frustrating for me and I wanted a bit more clarity on that.
Lol his love realization and his craze for that flavor of chips was funny. Bechara finally got the flavor in such brutal condition. I was like sabse chaalak aadmi tha, why did he walk into that trap. Ritu ke saath nikal leta. So many loose ends was kind of frustrating but I guess that was intentional. To me it felt like no one will find that plant because of human greed and selfish nature of decisions taken at every stage.Orakas ka arc was the best one....loved how they outsmarted those people in the end.
That was the most SATISFYING part of the show. The ones that were perceived to be selfish, defenseless, ignorant, illiterate and not strong enough to evolve and survive because they chose to not accept advancements outwitted the armed attack.I loved how Orakas knew that those people can basically not use the guns as each of those 20 bodies were absolutely needed unharmed to save more people.
Awesome trailer! Really looking forward to this.....Sam Manekshaw is practically a mythical figure in Indian history :)
There is an interview by Brut where he is interviewed by his grandson , what a fun personality and I absolutely was in awe of him. Just 15 minutes and I was like such a stalwart and absolutely GEM of a person.
Vicky is phenomenal, the way he just becomes the character !
Awwwieeee
Look at that nice rub at thr end so.their thing and vibe. I am.very Heppi ji seeing them.rocking that rani pink and looking so.beautiful
