Interesting development.
The others aren't aware that Ansh isn't their Ansh, but his counterpart from the future. His head must be reeling from all the info dump on him because everything is different here. It just adds to his responsibilities and how he'll do it differently this time. Even then, he has his own weaknesses, his love and his hopes, and his inability to part from Piya, which he won't do in any of the lifetimes. I'm glad he's at least thinking this instead of cutting the ties completely.
How will Piya from the future timeline affect the story and their lives here? And how will Ansh manage to do what he's wanted to do? I'm so looking forward to this.
Your writing makes me go back to my own fic writing, which I apparently write in my head instead of Google doc where I should. đĽ˛đĽ˛

Well, this Ansh isn't really a counterpart. He is the original. đ¤ Trouble is, unknowingly he has conjured an entirely different world where everyone has a different memory than his. And since he remembers everything, he is aware that something must have gone wrong. What he hasn't realized yet is that he himself has cast the spell.
As for his determination, rewatching the show made me realize that Piya isn't just a very important second priority for Ansh. The idiot writers did him dirty post the leap. Otherwise when you see it from a completely neutral point of view, at times it feels like Ansh loved Piya more in the beginning while Piya's love deepened post their marriage and specially after the leap.
That being said, it'll require something extraordinary for Ansh to give up on Piya and vice versa. So he'll keep trying his best until he finds a solution.
As for Piya, now she has an idea of the world Ansh is in. So definitely she'll come up with a plan. Rest, be patient and keep reading. đ
And yes, I can totally relate with the writing in my mind syndrome. đđđ
