Finally caught up on all the episodes and here's what I think so far:

• They need to give Kanika something better to do than just cry. I get that they want to show Tara as being vulnerable but yeh toh hadh hai yaar. Jab dekho roti rehti hai. Today when Deva called her a darpok, I was like toh isse kyun dushmani nibha ra hai. Iski life toh pehle se hi jhand hai aur ladki ne DDP ki Phd kar rakhi hai. Go after Chacha/Chachi instead. 😩
• Riddhima used to do spygiri.Tara is a Rotlu. I used to watch Vishal "s previous show where Poonam used to be scared of him a lot. In Indian television they deliberately show such gullible women who cries and cant breathe self reliance and self confidence. They are quite careful of making such leads. This is a well nurtured toxic potryal of female leads. I am so done with it that I have started enjoying it and infusing my idea oempowered women folk in my stories and fanfictions.
• Chota Deva & Choti Tara: I like it when it's used sparingly but not in overdoses like they did during the Haveli tour. I mean, Adult!DevRa are imagining them but to each other it must seem super weird. Like Tara's just laughing randomly looking at air.
• Speaking of air, jis kidki se hawa aa rahi thi woh bahar ki thi hi nahi. So hawa ka itna bada jhoka aaya kahan se?? 🤔
• The window closing & ek dusre ke upar gidna was another classic ITV moment so I didn't mind it too much. 🤭
• They will repeat this again and again. Get used to it untill Tara and Deva get married or Dev fully uncover his identity.
  
• Tara shouldn't have come back when Chachi called. She should have known that Chachi would be selfish. Not to mention, why the fck would you want to go back to a family that had literally ABUSED and TIED up your father?? Even in his sick state the man was terrified of going back in there and she was like, don't worry nothing will happen. The hell?? She should have called the police or some sort of help line to come and deal with this. Yeh kya nautanki chal ri hai.
• Which Itv Female lead do that?Dont you remember Riddhima and Vansh 's 2 minutes apology and reconciliation? Did you forget how despite Ishani and Aryan"s attempt to murder Riddhima was pardoned in fraction of seconds? And on the other note Tara is a resellient but not a bold woman. Very few women are there who can take a stand for herself. I dont know how much salary she recieves but surviving alone with an Alchzimer patient devoid of any support is difficult for Tara. This toxic family atleast to fulfil their own vested interest will gave food to this sick man. They will allow doctor to pay a regular visit. Thirdly Tara needs to stay in the vicinity of her abusive family because the story revolves round the sehgal and one fine day as they show in Itv Dev will save her from their evil clutch. Typical Itv !
  
• Then she had the audacity to actually ask Deva to use the Haveli for the wedding. Tara, PLEASE kabhi toh apna dimaag use kar liya kar. Pehle toh isne contract teekh se nahi para, phir iske Haveli ko lekar itne saare nakhre hai. Deva is right to call her out on everything. She did jackshit to save the home or Badshah. She's lucky ki yeh sab kuch Deva ke haath laga hai so everything would stay within the family. Koi aur hota, she wouldn't have gotten anything.
• I so agreed with the last line baki toh Itv ka khel hai.
• The locations were damn nice. Idk what it was about the mandir, but the shots they had taken there especially the outside ones looked really nice. Then at the haveli, Deva in white contrasting the yellow flowers in the back also looked great.
• Speaking of yellow, when Tara went to change out of her wet kurti, usko yeh transparent yellow saree hi mili thi pehne ke liye?? Girl, you're being kicked out of the house in the MIDDLE of the night. Koi self-preservation naam ki cheez hai ke nahi?? If not from badmash gunde, at least think of your body that will get cold from being out all night. Also, mandir mein aisi sarees pehna kab se allow kar diya??
• How on earth you dont know Itv leads ko thand nhi lagti. Gunde🤣🤣😁😁Gunde unhe cherenge but Deva sahi waqat pe prakat ho jayega.
  
• Papa Duggal is disgusting. Not just his attitude on women but to say that he wants a behenji type woman for his own son - the fck?? Ananya needs to kick both these men to the curb and Mama Duggal needs to get her own pankh so that she udh udh away from all the toxicity.
• Yaha vi Dev ko hi aana padega to sort things out.
• Deva ke tattoo - LOVE THEM! I think the actor has them IRL and I'm SO glad the PH let him keep them for the show. They add so much more depth and rawness to his character.
• Yes its his own and he being a very good poet and artist had carved it very thoughtfully

Idhar udhar kuch points reh gaye honge but sau baat ki ek baat - LOVING the show and Deva even more. Tara needs to stop crying all the damn time and grow a spine.

Just finished watching the last two episodes

Vishal vishal! Oh vishal! Yeh larka, har din ek naya mod le aata hai Why on earth he is so flawless. The way he sat on the Mandir staircase, touched the pooja thali before sending it to Tara and lick the blooddrop from his hands shows how dedicatedly he add his own cents to the entire scene. He himself being a devotee of Mahadeva had skillfully aced the Pooja scenes.Its now crystal clear that Her baba is Tara's weakness and every now and then this weakness will be utilized. Har insan ki ek na ek kamzori hoti hai In case of Tara as of now is her Baba

Dev is obsessed with Tara. Its not Revenge, yeh tara ke liye lauta hai. This man is giving clear hints to Tara that he is Deva but being a typical Itv female lead she didnt take them. The girl is in denial mode and I think during Palash and Ananya"s marriage Tara would get more hints of he being Deva. I think the parallel lead will enter after Dev 's real self will be exposed to Tara

Palash is going to be heavily beaten by Dev. This leech man was giving gandi nazar to Dev's Tara Mam, So uska varta toh ban na taiye hai.

Haven’t seen this episode yet but let me tell you one thing I have seen girls who misinterpret chauvinism with protectedness. I had a friend who used to boastfully tell us that her boyfriend does not allow her to wear sleeveless because he was protective . Firstly, I'm curious to know how old Ananya is cuz to me she seems way too young to be getting married. All I know about her is that she's a social media influencer and probably has a lot of insecurities due to her overbearing mother.

Secondly, if the writers are capable and strong, I would love for them to explore the following tracks:

a) Social media influencer is not a lucrative job. It does not guarantee a steady income and there's a whole horde of issues that comes along with being one. E.g., the fierce competitiveness, the incessant hate from complete strangers on the Internet, the constant pressure of putting out a product just so that you remain relevant, having to deal with people who will literally use you and then abandon you when the purpose is served.

b) Eating disorders. I don't know if this has been done on ITV before but it would be wonderful to see this issue being explored. Ananya's mom has been shown as being extremely controlling of Ananya's diet to the point that she has forbidden from eating solid foods and being put on a water diet alone. This will undoubtedly create an unhealthy relationship with food. Whether it's bulimia or anorexia, or even showing Ananya being super mindful of all the calories she intakes, it will be a great way to show the audience (especially the younger generation) that everything must be consumed in balance and moderation.

Thirdly, regarding the ingrained misogyny, unfortunately this is something that is a constant in all ITV shows. They both boast with the promise of having strong female leads who won't take shit from anyone, but unfortunately they all become victims to it. As for Ananya, I don't think she has a safe place for her to grow. Her dad and cousin bro are greedy AF. The only thing her mother cares about is wedding Ananya off, that too based on her looks rather than intelligence or qualifications. She can't go to her Bade Papa cuz he's not mentally all there and as for Tara, she's already burdened with so many financial responsibilities. I wish she had a better bond with Tara in the sense that she would feel comfortable enough to go to her with her problems regardless of what's going on in the house.

I don't know where the writers are going to go with this, but if not the Seghals, then maybe Deva. He has a strong head and would put everyone in their place and actually give Ananya the space that she needs to thrive fearlessly.

Lmao, meri bad kismati hai but I remember every little thing about Riansh. 🥲 But considering that this is a different PH, I assumed things would be different. And if we are comparing Riansh, then let's not forget that in the initial episodes, Riddhima was strong and had some modicum of self-respect. She always gave it back to Vansh, and when she was harassed by Aryan, she left the job - Kabir's mission be damned! And while the most logical thing would have been for Riddhima to leave, let's not forget the show was being shot right in the middle of pandemic. They logistically could not show her leaving the premise of the mansion as it would have been too risky.

As for Tara, yes they showed her calling up various friends for support and they all denied it. Okay. That still does not excuse her failing to call the cops. That big house that the Chachi is arrogant about, I'm damn sure Tara paid for most of it. Raunak has a series of failed start-ups, I have never seen Chacha/Chachi talk or do any work, and Ananya can't be making much as a SMI. That leaves Tara as the only breadwinner. For them to kick her out after they abused her dad - that's grounds for getting the Chacha/Chachi arrested.

Alas, once again, Deva was completely right when he told Tara, "Darpok ho tum." Iss ladki se kuch nahi ho payega.

Lmao, when she left her dad to roam around, mujhe sachi laga ki aisa kuch hoga.

I have a feeling that when her dad became mentally unwell, all the responsibility for the business & properties went to the Chacha. Knowing how greedy he is, he must have lost everything while gambling.
