Tbh, I like Pranali and her Saudamini was so good! But her Akshara was a major disappointment. The makers had such an amazing cast but they messed up the storyline so badly that I ended up hating all the characters except Aarohi and Ruhi.

Aarohi's transformation, her journey was so good in comparison to the main leads. The makers had a chance at redemption with Akshnav and AbhiRohi storyline and even later when Abhinav died, they could simply show Abhimanyu and Akshu co-parenting Abhir, and even Aarohi could simply focus on raising Ruhi.

Wouldn't that showcase a different kind of rishta, a world where marriage isn't the solution to every damn problem! Moreover, Akshu and Abhimanyu were toxic for each other and both their families are toxic as well. They had the love, but they lacked trust and understanding.

The makers could have turned this into a nice story like Gen 1 where the main leads worked on their flaws and completed each other. They were a fit but sadly AbhiRa weren't.

Such a waste of good casting.

Savi ki sawari did go for like one year I believe. I dunno much about the actress. Since she has some experince she will be better in term of acting compared Ruhi actor.

But they didn’t keep Arohi bad..she married Neil and they made her positive..now she’s one of the most liked characters of gen 3. She had asked Akshara to go back when they met during mimi’s birthday. She was not ready to accept Akshara till that point as per writer ‘s convenience.

Once it’s decided that there is no future of Abhimnayu and aarohi in the story, again as per their new convenience, they started to show her as supporting sister for Akshara.

Honestly I like aarohi way way way more than Akshara and I am so glad to see her character got much better growth and closure before her end.

Akshara mere liye hamesha twisted, superficial and good for nothing personality rahegi lekin for aarohi I can never think the word good for nothing.

Agar ruhi Armaan ka angle nahi add karte toh Regressive
theme kuch better ho sakta tha.

Male lead toh promo mai jo ek line bol raha hai ussi se spineless dikh raha hai. Dusra virat Chavan vibes se raha tha.Virat bhi bada spineless tha when it comes to sai vs chavans.

Just because ghum 1 hit tha, yeh rishta mai ghum daal do ! Toxicity, negativity, umarkaid, yeh sab season 3 mai jab section of audience digest nahi kar payi toh season 4 mai usse bhi zyada regressiveness and toxicity digest karne ka mann banana audience ke liye is not easy.

I am really baffled to see how people would say this concept would bring high TRP. First some said tha S3 is not up to the expectation because it is not Rishta concept, too much toxicity and full of romance and all. I agree that story was not properly executed. Then how come S4 will be up to legacy viewers and other rishta fans' expectations when the concept induces toxicity, conservating thinking and love triangle twists between sisters in the story of Rishta? This is beyond my understanding lol.
