I still listen to OSTs of Kaavyanjali, Kayamath, Tere Liye. The music, the lyrics, the picturisation was just chef's kiss during those times. And in fact, some movie songs shot up in popularity because of their use in ITV like Dil Ibaadat played in Pyaar Ki Ye Ek Kahaani, Kya Pyaar Karoge and Kabhi Na Sukoon Aaye in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Actually in those times, there was no role of Instagram follower count, using caricaturish social preaching and virtue-signalling to grab eyeballs. So the main focus was on the story, OSTs and acting. Also then actors were known by their character names so they gave their 100% to a show instead of resorting to offscreen drama to gain TRP. Sure the storylines were unhinged with people dying and returning with a different identity, but still you could see conviction on the part of actors, writers and even directors. I remember us time OST bhi top singers like Sonu Nigam, Shaan, KK, Babul Supriyo, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kailash Kher etc. gaate the.

yeah now it's all trp game. Makers just want to serve worst toxic show as possible. 1 man 2 women, 2 man 1 women. smiley26 Crap. Even anurag basu ko peeche chod denge aaj ke script writers smiley44smiley36

I get scared of the name of Wuthering heights. Its a tragic love story after all. They killed both Poonam and Lakhan as they were eternal lovers in Begusarai. I hope they dont do so in CLJ.Ultimately what heart pines for is Happy Ending but mind favours the tragic one.

Yes Harshad was the lead of Amber Dhara.

SRJ and Aham is still my favourites.🥰🥰!

And they will use the name of those movie songs and make it the title of their showsmiley37 even tho the name has nothing to do with the plot of the show

Channa mereya, Tere liye, Moh moh ke dhaage, Qurbaan hua… and many more

Kuch toh original karo yaarsmiley39

My name is Pragya. What's your name please? Yeah, actually you're right, in Begusarai, the actor playing Priom, Shweta Tiwari, Sudesh Berry all were quite tall and had an imposing personality so utna notice nahi hua.

My name is Titli.

Really great analysis and agree with you the OST is amazing reminds me of good old ITV days..and true Kanika as the soft feminine Tara with a fierce side compliments the broody, rugged handsome Vishal’s Deva so well..yes, Deva though he is now rich hasn’t forgotten his roots and seems grounded.
