My two cents on Chand Jalne laga

What I like

As the promo states it will be a passionate love story between two separated sweet heart.... A romance retelling in a garb of revenge so I have nothing much to tell about the story. I am just here to highlight what I like and What I dont.

Badshah and the location -We all agreed to this. Swastik is known for choosing exact locations what suits a story. Be it a green foliage and hilly mountain in Phulwa or the rugged locations of Sand Mafia Raj in Begusarai or now the Vinyeard... In Chand Jalne Laga. They are also very good in using animal. I hope they are treating Badshah well in the sets as the PH earlier was in a sue for maltreating an Elephant who was the main character of one of their show.Dev and Badshah "s race stole my ♥

Tara" s outfit

-Kanika is looking ethereal in this shiffon and silver jewellery. They should give Dev aka vishal Black outfit more bcoz its his color. I can write essays on Vishal wearing black, 🤣🤣

Ananya -I really like Tara's sister. She is not that typical clungy and clingy evil sister. She had a brain and a heart of her own. I so wish the makers will make a good use of this character where Dev will treat her like his sister not a trump card to harass Tara. This girl must get a match of her own foiling her greedy mom"s plan.

The Mahabharata vibes -Pranit Bhat and Sayantani ghosh"s,entry in future is supposedly giving me the MB vibes and I am expecting Sudesh Berry "s entry as well as he is Swastik " s favorite again.

Tara is a damsel but not in distress -If we ignore that typical goody girl traits Tara is atleast not impoverished like other female leads. This girl has a decent job, She behaves normally with ppl. She knew to dress up and drive properly. If not kante ka takkar but she will put some resistance against Dev. But using brain and hunch is not so itv FL"s cup of tea.

Amaltash -We Bengali"s have a soft corner for this flower. Amaltash is really a beautiful flower.

What I dislike

Tara's father's behavior in their fbs Why they always blame little kids for their mother"s death. They better not show her father to be cured becoz Alchzimers doesn’t get cured. Now what Tara and her father shares in the name of bond is much more tolerable and emotive to me.

Though I like the meaw and ghau part between Sartaj and his wife but now they have again made those typical money hungry uncle and aunt. Yeh chizien dekh dekh aankhe pak gaye hai mere 😴😴

I actually have no complaints about Raunaq bcoz leech side villains like him are needed for subplots. He had been the only consistent evil here.

Timing- I really am feeling bad that I will have to take the support of jio app to watch it. 9-30 is not suitable for me to watch the show in t.v.

I really wish to see the lead actors to grew along with the growth of the story. I hope u will enjoy my feedback.I have nothing to say about the story bcoz even if it seems cliche it is still 10 times more watchable than those kachdra things tv produces every season.

Actually, the show reminds me of Wuthering Heights in so many ways. In the novel, the male lead is maltreated and bullied by the female lead's elder brother (During their childhood in the novel, the brother actually hits him with a whip, I guess, 50 times) and when the male lead returns as an ultra-wealthy aristocrat, the first thing he does is taking over the estate of female lead's father from her brother by making him drink and lose money in gambling. The scene when Deva (or Dev? They haven't mentioned his new first name till now) is sitting on the sofa and Tara's brother on the ground.

I too was worried about PH's treatment of Baadshah as most ITV PHs are not exactly humane enough to treat animals right.

Speaking of Amaltash, this drama gives me such Sharatchandra nineteenth century novel vibes and also regency novels vibes. In fact, just last week, I've read a regency novel titled Gentleman Jim by Mimi Matthews in which the hero is a stable boy in the heroine's estate as a child and teenager and then he is falsely accused of a crime he didn't commit. After many years, heroine thinks he's dead and suddenly crosses ways with a dashing, ultra rich Viscount who cannot be more opposite than her dead love and yet there's something familiar.

Dunno why I strongly feel he might use her sister against her someday in the future(though clearly I don't want it. Ananya seems really sweet but ITV holds a record kachra karne ki...Rangu is a history sheeter in this case💀😂). If not her then definitely some other girl. He WILL torture her and break her heart likh ke le lo

Not keeping much higher hope from makers. Bas itna chahati hoon ki kachra agar kare vi ek level ho iska. Things shouldn’t supposed to be Puja and Party Drama. You know what I mean. If they have invested so much in location and casting, they should use it mindfully.

Have never watched any show of this PH except Mahabharat,Shani. So have little bit flickering hopes because at the end of the day sab channel aur ratings ke bharose pe hai.

Navya, Manmarziyan and Begusarai are some of the well esteemed stories made by Swastik which are purely non mytho. These stories won the heart of people and had been shot in real location but In the era of K dramas they couldn’t garner high trps but surely gained high praise. So I am hoping to have a good storyline but Makers if the trp doesn’t raise will do some changes and infuse more drama. Even if they do so it still will be watchable.

Also I am curious for sayantani character, she usually choose some strong well written roles so daam curious regarding her character..May be she is connected with Deva , Deva can't be millionaire from a juvenile murder accused out of nowhere ( even if it's itv)

Also most probably it was Tara's bro behind the accident & she was manipulated to save him
