I don’t disagree. Putting aside though the whole how we earn money IRL and putting aside character growth as this is what he is going through, he has used a dishonest way to get the business in his name despite him being highly critical of Sonali and her underhand ways. To support his dishonesty he is splurging family money, now when Dadi finds out the lengths he has gone to he will not be able to buy his way out then heh.

Coming back to IRL I know if I splurged my family’s hard earned money in a dishonest way questions would be asked even by my young nephews who are super sharp when it comes to business and finance.

Didn't Sonali use a dishonest way to get him in trouble by getting him married to a pawn in her game. She literally wanted to ruin his life. If you remember watching the earlier episodes, Agastya had clearly refused to marry under such duress and then dadi faked being sick and then he agreed. He wanted to be truthful in his marriage to Nyonika and would have been even if the reasons to marry were not the most appropriate.

Agastya did use dishonest means to get the business but he's not greedy about the money. This fake marriage doesn't impact anyone else's life directly as much as it affected his own.

He just wanted to ensure the family legacy and name is saved coz Sonali used dishonest ways to run the business and he's using an honest way of doing business. It's all in the pursuit of a greater good.

Also if you or I were a child of Chaudhary family (or SRK) who had that much wealth, the family wouldn't care if some lacs are spent here or there. It is a relative concept now, his family has a lot of wealth toh it's like a drop in the ocean to him/ them. I've never seen him think of money before casually throwing them around.

Man! Agasthya stays so calm in front of the family. He doesn’t show his emotions at all. And definitely not to Sonali. Poor Imlie panicked and he thought he is taking this very lightly.

The Pooja scenes were done well. But they have to fight in between all this.

Agasthya really can’t stop himself from passing unnecessary comments but I like the fact that Imlie gives it back to him. She is vocal about her dreams of being married and also her hurt on this fake marriage. Some day Imlie will walk out of the contract marriage but Agasthya will bring her back and fulfill all her wishes .

The precap is still confusing. Will the family know Imlie’s truth so soon? Agasthya-Imlie do not have to fake the marriage if the truth is out. What happens then?

Agastya character is so well written man..jitna bhi bolu is less only.

Why do I think it's Imlie ka dream? Agastya did go charging at that man. I don't think the family is prepared to accept a bar singer as the bahu yet. They need to see imlie ka goodness so that the profession doesn't matter when the truth comes out. Agastya ki mom being a bar singer is definitely a pain point for the whole family and their reasons stem from there and not just her profession being perceived of a low standard.

@bold:- Yup the precap is very confusing. I think even if the family knows Imlie ka truth what is going to happen. They all think this marriage is real and they are married. The fact that this is a contract marriage is known only to them na and maybe to Nyonika if she was listening on the conversation. I guess Agastya will somehow make sure the truth is not out so soon.

Yes I agree with you. Imlie being vocal about her dreams is really good. Arey she is a singer in a bar, why should she not have dreams of being happily married. I think Agastya commenting like that is his personal experience with his mother not being accepted by the family but somewhere down the lane, I feel Agastya will understand that he should be better than his dad and he will marry Imlie with all rituals and give her the place of being his wife in front of the society.
