When DP and Ranveer first started “dating”Ranveer wasn’t a big star , he was a new comer and still had to prove himself. DP who thought she had found her forever in Ranbir was devastated clearly. So she was being cautious. Imagine a gorgeous girl like DP was cheated on so publicly her confidence must have shaken to the core.

So in a way Ranveer had to prove himself career wise too. Yes, Ranbir was a newcomer too but he is a Kapoor and was anyway touted as the big thing .

But, I do hope DP realises how lucky she is that her husband is so crazy about her. Somewhere , she still seems hung up on Ranbir even now atleast publicly she behaves that way.

Why is everyone saying DP didn;t commit for 6 mths, didn't she say they started dating in 2012 and she didn't commit till her proposed in 2015?

I regret reading through the last 20 pages of this topic.

The PDA was too much for me. Although they both looked happy in the wedding video.

I have no clue why Karan felt the need to insist he is strong and then proceed to read through every crap that was thrown at him on social media over the last 3 years. I despise the man, but I felt for him when he talked about the breakdown.

the way Ranveer was staring at karan when he was having the meltdown was all “ya that’s right I found the one ….tera kya hoga kalia” 😏

I think people have a problem with simultaneously dating multiple men, as opposed to just dating multiple men in the past …

RK was caned for his battery low jokes (indicating he was dating multiple women at the same time and was cheating on them) on the same show

While deepikas statement is not as problematic …her “I saw several men at that time but kept going back to him” sounds icky and almost disrespectful because he’s being treated like he’s some safety blanket instead of an actual person with feelings …this same behavior will be deemed highly toxic if the genders were switched I.e guy “kept coming back” to a girl after having his fun with the others
she could have worded it better

The whole Jada will comparison is a bit extreme but Jada and smith did exhibit behavior wherein she thinks of him as someone who will stick by no matter what….and she continues with her transgressions and comes back to him…dosent divorce him….to the point that the guy almost seems gaslit to believe she’s doing this coz she loves him a lot and is coming back to him…it’s kinda twisted

It’s fine to experience mental health issues/talk abt it and seek support but I don’t think it’s fine to use a living breathing person as a human emotional crutch for a lifetime …it does not work
