He claims to be a psychiatrist and knows that katha is hiding something behind her smile. But he jumped at the opportunity of getting close to her by getting engaged. He didn't care to ask questions at that time. He notices they are not like other normal couples but that doesn't stop him from living with her in the same house.

And Katha devi, inka to kya hi kehna. Not just doctor woh and his daughter, katha is making fool of whole family. How many hearts she will break for fulfilling her brat son's whimsical demands.

Aarav is unhappy because robin hurt his mother but katha didn't even once cared to explain that despite being hurt she forgave robin and she loves him and wants only robin as her life partner. The fact that in the process of protecting his mother now aarav is being the sole reason of hurting his mother will be devastating for him once he realise it.

Confused, shallow and honestly selfish. He is as much taking advantage of Katha as she is taking his. He knew her son was struggling and she was vulnerable and lonely because of it. And had no qualms in taking advantage of this fact to fulfill his family dreams or attraction or whatever it was. He knew Aarav was fond of him and he exploited that to also get close to his mother. Not saying that Katha was not at fault here, but this doctor is so not doodh ka dhula. If he had been some upstanding, moral hero, he would have insisted on them taking some time themselves to build a relationship to see if they had anything in common beyond their kids. If they can work together as a couple or just be nothing but parents.

All the mistakes Katha has made in handling Aarav regarding Viaan are just too numerous to even say here. Honestly, it deserves a separate post. Why she couldn't explain anything to him without talking about ONS is beyond me. She should have strictly told him to not meddle in adults' affairs and to concentrate on his own life. Whatever happened between her and Viaan was her concern and he had no business hating or being angry at anyone. Have no idea how he is able to hold onto such baseless resentment and anger for someone for so long without even knowing the reason.

At one moment I feel immensely immersed in the angst shown between Katha and Viaan. And when Viaan asks question tum kyun chali gayi then, I remember its all bcoz Aarav, then I realize WTF I am watching. smiley37

It completely breaks the immersion. Involving Aarav so much was definitely one of the worst decision. If they are involving him, they should have fleshed out the flashbacks and show that no amount of explanation worked and this was the only way. First of all, they are involving Aarav and then, not giving convincing enough reasoning. I would have liked if Katha was moving on for her own reasons and her own fears of getting defamed, fear of that night and fear for her past. Aarav must be present in this equation but, Katha should have been involved too and should have been main reason. But, here, it is all Aarav. At the end, it feels like Katha is culprit for handling Aarav and making him control her life. She should have been her own controller not Aarav.

In todays episode, they actually showed her telling Aarav to forget him and move on. The writers are on a mission to completely butcher her character. From a vulnerable yet strong, optimistic single mother they have effectively turned her into someone who latches onto men and destroys their families. First Grewals, then Teji and soon it will be the Sehgals. Here comes katha the man-eater

Exactly, aarav is the main reason for seperation and in the flash backs they not even showing it properly. Whatever flash backs are shown until now, in all of them aarav goes into a fits of anger and katha just try to pacify him by changing the topic or just staying silent or calling doctor woh.

In today's flashback, aarav was not even angry. He just asked why robin hurt you. She had opportunity to explain him without going into ONS details. She could have told that people do make mistakes but they can change themselves and repent and thats what viaan did. But no, katha reached to the conclusion that aarav needs doctor woh.smiley39

And the amount of double standards of katha is increasing like every day with every episode. She is the same person who couldn't solve her child's issue and claims to understand children more than their parents. She even advises them on children's upbringing.smiley36

She couldn't explain aarav about viaan but managed to explain him about garewals. Why aarav not have any issue towards garewals specially yuvraj is beyond my understanding. Aarav just heard that viaan hurt katha but he actually witnessed yuvraj assaulting viaan. Which would make more impact for a child?

Mother son duo just used viaan. Played with his feelings and now they got new khilona in the form of doctor woh.

Is replacing your parent so easy over one line you heard which nobody cared to explain you in detail. Aarav's love for viaan just turned out to be bol bachhan bas. I think he needed father to show off to his friends.

And katha also didn't commit completely to viaan. Her fight with viaan regarding aarav although instigated by maaya maasi is evidence of it. Actually mother son only truly love each other and there is no place for a thrid person in their life.

He is not a poor kid. That child character has so many issues. Probably he likes collecting rishtedars like new toys, plays with them, throw them away ultimately and pester mumma to bring more new toys.

Right from the starting, his upbringing is shown as so problematic.

His mother calls him monkey all the time.

His so called strong independent mother calls him man of the house, who takes every decision of their life.

His mother is obsessed about him.

He himself is obsessed about some random guy robin and plans for hookup with his mother.

He shows off his new papa to his friends.

He just heard about one line about hurting his mother and boom! here goes all his love affection for new papa into thin air.

He instantly find replacement papa and develop same creepy kind of affection for him.

I can go on and on with Aarav's burai. I am so pissed off at him.smiley37

Oh don't get me started on Maaya Mausi. The way writers broke my conviction regarding her and broke my trust on them, I am still affected by it.

Thing was that the things Maaya mausi did although were instigated were obvious differences present in their relationship. Aarav after becoming part of Raghuvanshi family was bound to get expensive gifts. He was bound to get luxury of helpers and servant, he was bound to get admitted in an expensive and well mannered school, a conversation of Viaan's own child was bound to come. If it didn't came bcoz of her, it was bound to come after marriage.

At that time, I supported Katha because her reasoning was justified. But with the current reasoning, it feels like Katha always kept her interests above that of Viaan's.

I know this comment will not age well bcoz writers can very easily twist and fix all the loopholes. But, really disappointed with the writing.

Actually it could have been more logical if kaviaan breakup was shown because of all these issues brought forward by maaya maasi and katha being convinced their relationship cant work or took a step back because of her fears.
