I don't have a problem with the 3rd person in the story. In the OG also, FL was marrying 3rd time with 3rd person.

But the problem is People already know the end game. It is not a movie where 2nd hero come after interval and he is just there to unite the lead couple. It is a serial and the show should engage people with the conflict that whom Katha will choose at the end.

This Raghav is just there for time pass. He doesn't have unique personality. He look another Eshan to me. Even he recite Viaan's shayari. Katha have 0 interest in him. Naturally people won't have sympathy for Raghav.

I would have prefer another rude person but good with the kid. He would have give reality check to Katha, may be try to get information from Katha, Katha feels a good friend in sharing her problem. Atleast some people would have sided with Raghav as more sensible person for Katha.

Viaan conviction towards Katha is too pure and strong to be forgotten so easily!! True love haunts, especially when he came SOO close to living it! He can NEVER love another like he loves Katha.. this kind of love keeps wounds open, and only living their love story can heal them! Katha is his reason for living! To understand Viaan you have to have loved like him :)

Katha always held Viaan at a distance. And he felt too guilty of what he had done to her that he dare not push her. He supported ALL her decisions. In a normal relationship it's a fine balance of give and take. Here the power equation is always in Katha's favor. Plus ITV has this habit of making soap heroines martyrs and flawless and rigid. And here I thought this show was going to be different.

She was fine with Viaan being a part-time boyfriend. But I doubt she would have agreed even with a live-in arrangement. She's too accustomed to being the only authority in her life and her son's life. Living with Neerja was ok since Katha had the final say even if Neerja disapproved of something.

I don't get Katha's career change. It made sense for her to work at odd jobs when Aarav was sick. But why can't she go back to her original position? Earthcon wouldn't have blacklisted her.

I can't forgive the Garewals, because Papa G and Yuvraj were throwing tantrums and waving guns about while Aarav was lying traumatised in the next room after just being attended by the doctor.

Wahi toh Katha never loved Viaan like the way Viaan loved her. So what's the point!!! Just walk out with grace. He can love her unconditionally forever, just don't run after her.

I wonder how people forget that its the same Viaan we hated for asking an ONS in return of money. We have come a long way to support him, putting all blame on Katha.

Katha was always shown as a single mother, her whole purpose of life is Aarav. She accepted ONS, was ready to end herself for his treatment, she agreed to marry Viaan, because Aarav accepted him, and she left Viaan because now Aarav does not want him. She is ready for Raghav because Aarav is happy with Raghav.

The only difference is Katha was in love with Viaan when she agreed for marriage (that itself was wrong, as its kind of a victim falling for her predator) and we were happy because we saw Viaan has changed and basically we loved him as hero and wanted to see them together.

Here, we don't take Raghav as hero, and we don't want to see them together.

But Katha remains the same. A single mother living for her son.

If we consider Katha's ONS and marriage with Viaan as right, we should consider her decision to marry raghav also right. Logic behind remains the same. She is doing it for the well being of her son.

As I watched a few episodes post leap, Katha is thrown back to the position where she started. All alone, trying to bring her son back to normal life. He had cancer first, now he has psychological/mental health issues. Any disease affecting your body is easier to cure, if you can afford to. But mental health issues are more difficult to attend to. Remember that now PapaG, mamaG, Dodo all are gone. She is a lonely soul.

Aarav heard Viaan confessing that he hurt his mom, and it broke his trust on his Robin. Basically he trusted him as family and safe place for him and his mom and his trust os broken. Aarav is not a toddler, he is 9 year old, he is in a transition age. And such age kids are difficult to manage. Unless he has a breakdown while having a heartfelt conversation with Viaan, asking him all the questions and Viaan patiently accepting his mistakes and apologising, Aarav can not be healed.

What puzzles me is Katha not disclosing to the doctor the reason behind Aarav's condition. Without ONS revelation also, she can tell his doctor, what triggered the condition in Aarav. And doctor is also not trying to find out the reason. how is he treating him without knowing the reason.

And this marriage proposal looks very odd. He is a psychiatrist, but he is not able to understand that Katha is not happy, even if she is putting up a smile on face. In between, he had a monologue of katha is not happy in engagement scene, then they brushed it away saying ki he will take up the role of love for both sides.

Katha leaving EC and Architecture profession I can understand. But her marrying Raghav for Aarav is wrong. She is playing with two more lives with her this move. Poor Ruhi will be heart broken.

Aarav is trying to replace Viaan with Raghav. But here things are different with Ruhi in picture.

What ideally should have been, Katha moving to some other city with Aarav and meeting Viaan after a few years. Aarav would have healed with a change in place.

Viaan, I don't want to comment. He has turned into a full time poet and author. Does he even go to EC?

Now anyway they have taken this route of third angle, I want Katha to realise that she is doing wrong to Raghav and wants to stop the marriage on her own. I don't want Aarav to do that job.

Special appreciation to yesterday K-V confrontation scene, kudos to Aditi and Adnan for their performance. And music and camera angles. WOW.

I believe there was such a confrontation scene in OG, which they tried to create as an imagination of Katha. It gives the mental status of Katha. She has not moved on. she is still stuck on that day.

Here Viaan has become a kind of Saint. He can not confront Katha in reality.

Thanks for accurately presenting all the dynamics in the storyline and also the associated flaws.

What to say, due to mentality like this indian serials don't show their FL flawed. People can't really tolerate even a single mistake by an FL.

I lost my faith in FD when everyone was demeaning, hating and writing horrible things about Katha on twitter because she shouted on Viaan at Grewal house. There was no point in even saying anything when entire mentality is so flawed. Rather just go with the flow. I don't even know what to say. Everyone felt sympathetic for Viaan because he was given a monologue and not really understanding Katha. At time time, I would say Katha did no mistake whatsoever. I would say its Viaan's insensitivity and lack of awareness that he didn't understand the gravity of his crimes and thinks that it will fix just like that by being resolute.

And, Katha's reply in dream sequence was not only to Viaan but, audience in general who were completely oblivious to her contributions. If she doesn't get monologues like Viaan then, its your problem that you fail to understand the obvious.

Yes, she is flawed now and I would rather accept to watch this story to see how she fixes or how Viaan fixes her flaws. We saw how Viaan fixed his flaws with subtle guidance from Katha who gave him reality checks. I would like to see role reversal somewhat. I can imagine a very beautiful storyline ahead.

However, writers need to flesh out their flashbacks. Each flashback they show sways the audiences perspective heavily. Many of flashbacks swayed my perspective towards the characters and I can see its effect on twitter too. Aarav is still kind of annoying because he is hard to connect with. I want to feel sympathy for him because he was indeed a very happy and cheerful child and what happened to him. Its really painful to watch.

First Grewals, then Teji and soon it will be the Sehgals. Here comes katha the man-eater

Man-eater lolsmiley36

But I'll have to disagree. By putting all the blame on Katha here we're totally eliminating the role of those fully grown adult men involved in these scenarios, who had functioning brains and were always capable of taking their own decisions, and chose their own paths.

Katha did not ruin Garewals in any way. She fell in love with a man and got married to him. It's not illegal or unethical. Neither it's "latching" onto men in any way. Adi chose to walk out and leave his family for Katha on his own. Katha cannot be blamed for this.

Similarly, Viaan himself chose to go against Teji and her wishes. He fell in love with Katha first, he pursued her, accepted her son and wanted a life with her, no matter what his mother said. If anything it was Teji who destroyed her own family and son and not Katha. Once she fell in love, Katha was always fully committed to him. And she would've been if they had gotten married.

This is the only time Katha is being dishonest in a relationship. She's thinking of other man and marrying another man. But, here too she can only be blamed for her share of the mistakes. Dr. Woh cannot be given a clean chit for this. Protecting his daughter, and his family's feelings is primarily his job and not Katha's.

No one can blame Viaan for still carrying a torch for Katha. She was his one great true love. He will always hold out hope for a reconciliation, always wish for them to get back together. He can hate her, be angry at her and still love her. Once you've experienced that kind of superlative, elite, one-of-a-kind type of love, it's hard to settle for less. It's like having to eat stale tuna after tasting caviarsmiley36
