It started when I was in my graduation college.

I did my graduation, worked for a couple of years, quit my job, did my masters, again worked for couple of years, got married, had a child and now my child has started going to school.

I understood the meaning after this research

So in generation 3, heroine's name of Akshara and hero (Harshad's character) was Abhimanyu, so the ship name was Abhira

Later another character, cameo/parallel lead was introduced Abhinav (played by Jay Soni), though he and Akshara weren't end games, but they did get together for some time and they will have a daughter. Lot of fans supported them with the ship name Akshnav.

Now the generation is about the daughter of Akshnav and her name is Abhira..

So now this is a character name

Show makers don't even care to think of name they just take the ship name for the children's name

Abhira word is a derivative of word Abhir/Aheer which stands for a community who were engaged in milk business. Basically the Gwala community who raised cows and did business of milk/milk products.
Abhira will mean a Gwalan or a milkmaid.

Will anyone in real life name their children so?
