Shami, Player of the Match: Got a lot of confidence after taking a wicket on the first ball. If your team mates are doing well, you should support them, it's important and I understand that. It was important to pick those late wickets, and you always want your team to be the top side. Very happy that I got those wickets.

"Its not too hard (waiting by the sidelines) if your team is doing well. They are your teammates and if they are doing well then you should be supporting them. Really close match and India showed their mettle today. Kept cool and did what was needed for the win. Kohli missed his century but a great innings by him nonetheless! Shami is PoTM and very well deserved What a stunning performance by him!

NZ lost their first match of the WC and Team India is now at the top of the standings! Woo hoo!
