This ban should have never been applied in the first place. Pathetic politics smiley11

For the past seven years, Pakistani actors and artists have been banned from working in India. It has refused talented artists including Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar and more from working in India. This has led to them relocating to their home country since the ban was imposed. Now, in a recent news, the Bombay High Court has rejected a petition that sought to ban the artists from working in the country.

The Bombay High Court heard a petition filed by a cineworker, which sought to ban the Pakistani artists from working in India. Justice Sunil B Shukre and Justice Firdosh P Pooniwalla observed that the petition had lacked merit, and observed that it was a retrograde step to promote cultural harmony and unity. As per a report in News18, the court said in its ruling that “activities promoting peace, harmony, and tranquillity, including arts, music, sports, culture, and dance, transcend national boundaries and contribute to unity and harmony within and between nations.”

haan people from other countries shouldn't work in India.....but Indians should go and work everywhere....right?? I hope no NRI says that.....it will be so ironical ....for them to have their ass working in other countries but don't want others to work in their country...

Atif/Rahat are better than most singers (modern ones like Arijit not people like Udit or Kumar)

God, some people are so one-dimensional, dramatic and delusional. Sorry but MY (means me) personal opinion is that two countries that have so many issues with each other should just stay away from each other

It’s not India’s responsibility to give platforms to Pakistani artists; they should stay in their own nation and make their own industry better. They obviously have the potential to do it, with Pasoori recently being better than any other song I have heard from Bollywood in recent years.
