Murder of English 💀

I know that someone who is not a native speaker of English will make faults with pronunciation . English is not the pinnacle of intelligence and nobody should be humilated for this. Anupama was not given any chance to grow as a Shah dil but but but why is she still the same now... What us the excuse now?

There hasn't been a single change. She never tried to better herself. Can you imagine she is working with an international business tycoon and that too is his wife?? So she must be a lot familiar to office environment and foreign delegates whom she deal with during business meetings.

How could she not correct herself even after getting insulted million times?

Just take a look at Sreemoyee 's character. The actor is natural and does not butcher English despite not being literate in English like Anupama.

You forgot her screaming on streets, Mishter Shah hum KORUT mein ladenge yahan par nahi.

Please don’t take Anupama in Grant, she has apparently completed Phinansial Litteracy Cores, so what if she still says Surri and Thenk You, Ijjj beck? Insaan ki pehchaan uske guno se hoti hai uski Bhasa se nahi and Anupama is Sarv Gun Sampanna, she runs a multi billion business and deals with International Clients, handles 2 houses singlehandedly.

It’s okay she was probably so busy preparing khichdi for Baa and adrak wali Cha for Mishter Shah that she forgot to attend the graduation day of the course but she topped it in entire Amdavad.

And it’s absolutely okay that along with Englis she murders Hindi Bhasa too

It's the murder of English, Hindi, and Gujarati combined. I have seen Gujarati-speaking people around me in my family. I am accustomed to the language though not pro at it... Have never seen these kinds of mannerisms in them, which is picked up by Anupama. I think their reference was Hansa from Khichadi and Daya from TMKOC. They combined both the comedy characters and created a serious character. Like all the social issues, there was zero effort to understand the mannerisms of a Gujarati. Moreover, Anupama is at least an intermediate pass. One language at least she should speak fluently, especially Hindi, because in the show the family does not talk in Gujarati. Hindi is their first language.

Exactly. The issue is not how she was, issue is how she has become.

She is a self acclaimed BESHT at everything with no willingness to learn.

In the show Anupama’s mother or baa doesn’t talk like her. If they speaks English words they speak them properly.

Devika is her school friend and they were in same college but she didn’t talks like Anupama.

So who taught her everything.

Was she bunking school and college at that time.

I think Vanraaj was not ashamed of her because of smell of masala’s but he didn’t wanted to be the laughing stock because of her extraordinary English.

Now we know that it’s not about opportunities but Anupama’s unwillingness of correct herself and learn something. So maybe Vanraj also tried to correct her initially but she didn’t changed a bit. So he give up. After 25 years it’s look like he didn’t wanted to take her out or he was ashamed of her.

It was not about speaking Hindi or Gujarati or not speaking English.It’s about speaking wrong English and didn’t wanted to correct herself or learn anything.

Anuj is mad in her love so he don’t care or he also given up on correcting her.

In SP’s old show FL was completely illiterate but she was willing to learn. She was also Gujrati but if we compare them Anupama is nowhere near her. She completed her education at home schooling. Here Anupama gone to college and she is like this.
