TBH, I don't want Katha-Viaan as end game (not because Katha agreed to marry Raghav or she does not care for him, but because that will be a kind of Victim marrying her predator).

I would like to see full redemption of Viaan, and they end the story with them remaining friends. Katha can remain single and if she really falls in love with someone, she can marry him.Not for the happiness of Aarav

They could have best storyline and could have taken a lot slower if the TRP was coming. I read old DTs on this forum and saw every second comment was like, they are dragging it and it is getting boring even though, they were just showing the chemistry between them. Also, most TRP comes from ship hungry fans who want to promote the ship but, not the story.

I honestly wanted more development for Maya mausi to understand her flawed mentality. but, fans just messaged director, tweeted writers so much that they had to remove Maya mausi in such a haste. Also, TRP and viewership fell a lot because of Maya Mausi. I would say that she never got a valid conclusion simply because of the pressure from audience. I don't think in this way ITV will ever be able to generate dynamic storylines which has both positive and negative phases.

If the show takes a slightly negative turn at the cost of ship even if it is the right thing to do, they will completely go against the show and all the actors. And, unfortunately writers have to cater to the audience.

What you say I agree with. I thought it would have been best ending for the story. However, the way with the beauty with which they developed their relationship, it feels simply unjust to show their forever separation even though it is the right thing to do morally and realistically.

This. I don't think any kind of redemption is possible where they get married. Bec what he did was absolutely shittty

Waise aajkal both katha and viaan annoy me. Katha with her raja beta is on God knows what trip. And viaans loser Devdas avtaar is unbearable

He only heard Viaan apologising for the hurt he did for Katha. I don't think he knows exactly what happened. And I don't think a 9 year old will understand what is an ONS (in Indian setting)

This was exactly Teji's fear and it has come true. This is what she talked about when she said Katha has baggage. Katha's No:1 priority has always been her son. As it should be. Viaan was always a bonus but not integral to her life. Teji wanted a bahu who'll make Viaan the centre of her universe.

Teji and Katha have a lot in common as single mothers with only sons who will go to any length for keeping their children happy. Both their actions have proved detrimental to their son's emotional wellbeing too. Both Viaan and Aarav are a bit self-centred and want things done their way - though Viaan being an adult corrects himself.

Exactly. Despite a challenging teenage years with a shameless scandal affecting his psyche, Viaan had a good, balanced upbringing. He was not some arrogant, rude, entitled brat. He was ambitious, loyal, caring towards his family, friends and employees, and family-centric. Aarav, on the other hand, acts more like an adult than a kid. I guess Katha's overindulgence comes from the situation they both have been in most of Aarav's young life. Any parent who has seen his child in a hospital just struggling to survive would give in to the whims and tantrums of the said child more often than not. Add to that the constant emphasis on how he's the man of the house like he's some supreme authority, instead of telling him firmly that he was the kid and she was the adult and it was her responsibility to take care of them not the other way around. Now he thinks he can interfere in adults' business and take decisions for everyone while Katha follows his lead silently. Honestly, it's just detrimental to him only in the long run. You cannot take life-altering decisions when you're not in total control of your mental faculties. It just leads to disastrous consequences.

Because Katha couldn't teach her kid any manner, only could spoil him by keep telling your are the man of the house.
