Viaan's redemption is not complete yet. He realised and repented, but he has to undo the wrong doing. I believe that will come by the end of this track, which will make Aarav and Katha realise that Viaan is the right one. and they may unite and end the story.
TBH, I don't want Katha-Viaan as end game (not because Katha agreed to marry Raghav or she does not care for him, but because that will be a kind of Victim marrying her predator).
I would like to see full redemption of Viaan, and they end the story with them remaining friends. Katha can remain single and if she really falls in love with someone, she can marry him.Not for the happiness of Aarav
They could have best storyline and could have taken a lot slower if the TRP was coming. I read old DTs on this forum and saw every second comment was like, they are dragging it and it is getting boring even though, they were just showing the chemistry between them. Also, most TRP comes from ship hungry fans who want to promote the ship but, not the story.
I honestly wanted more development for Maya mausi to understand her flawed mentality. but, fans just messaged director, tweeted writers so much that they had to remove Maya mausi in such a haste. Also, TRP and viewership fell a lot because of Maya Mausi. I would say that she never got a valid conclusion simply because of the pressure from audience. I don't think in this way ITV will ever be able to generate dynamic storylines which has both positive and negative phases.
If the show takes a slightly negative turn at the cost of ship even if it is the right thing to do, they will completely go against the show and all the actors. And, unfortunately writers have to cater to the audience.
What you say I agree with. I thought it would have been best ending for the story. However, the way with the beauty with which they developed their relationship, it feels simply unjust to show their forever separation even though it is the right thing to do morally and realistically.
