Another very good and emotional episode, I knew Kanaji will eventually go but it was a bittersweet moment where you know he is gone but he is there too. I have to really appreciate the actor who played the role with such finesse, he made a fantastic mark. I would like for the makers to keep him and give him another character in the show.
About the episode:
- Tara finally gets to see Kanaji’s virat roop and recalls the hints he sent her way. She is in awe and says you came to earth for me and he replies that more than devote loving god, it’s god who loves their devoted more. She admits she is stupid and foolish as she couldn’t recognise him or Dhruvs innocence but kanaji says you were focused on your duty.
- She laments she couldn’t save Dhruv or her brother and kanaji tells her that truth can never lose and love is truth and now it’s time to end evil. He says I am giving you back your life as you are another avatar of shakti ( I think that’s Durga, right?) and says my blessings are with you and go do what you have too as shakti. Tara’s wounds are healed and kanaji leaves.
- Coronation is taking place and QM and anusiya are maids in cuffs and serving beverages to guests. Samrat is introduced in a hilarious manner by the same guy who made announcement about swayamvar. Samrat comes and takes his place on the throne.
- Dhruv angrily asks him where is his Tara and Mahavir asks him too. They both were tied up like that Thakur from the movie Sholey and I laughed at that. Anyway, Tilotima comes and says she is alive but you all behave if you want her alive.
- This random guy introduces a dancer mehrunessa and it’s Tara with face mask on and dances. She shows her face to Dhruv which was such a beautiful scene. Again, I loved how Tara’s priority is Dhruv. Dhruv now is watching her and tara goes near Samrat and stabs his hand in such a way that it’s stuck to the couch he is sitting on.
- She reveals herself and her fellow dancers stab all Samrat’s soldiers and overpower them.
What I liked:
- Kanaji reiterates that love is truth and it can never lose.
- Tara showing herself to Dhruv was so good. He was most worried about her more than Mahavir who seemed to be still moping.
- The way Tara stabbed Samrat reminded me of that fierce 21st century Tara.
- QM taking reigns and giving out sentences. She realised her son is bad at giving decisions so she gave death penalties to Tillo and Samrat, and life sentence to bhanu as he became state’s witness against the perpetrators.
- I loved the precap. Giving mangalsutra to tara means marriage will take place which will allow her to wear it and keep it safe. This will also fulfil kanajis promise to Dhruv and tara that their wedding will happen. As they are going to be stuck in a different century - I presume we will see drama there and I don’t mind as it’s better than anything as far as they are married. They are gods destined pair so nothing drastic will happen but for views some drama is needed. So after their marriage they can bring whatever I don’t care but I want some nice scenes peppered and no cuts.
Looks like Mahavir and Anusiya won’t be marrying at the same time. Thank goodness for that, I am still upset with Mahavir and he needs to do a deep reflection of his actions and their consequences. I was wondering what decisions he ever made as a king and turns out he established a female fighting gang which was interesting.
I wouldn’t mind if they do new century and 17th century parallel tracks but won’t be upset if they don’t. Sad to see Samrat and Tillo end but it was needed, with god around they cannot get away.
