Even i don't mind but this looks like too feminine with the embroidery and the shawl looks like a dupatta
I really don't have anything against Ahad but the way his fans are calling uncle Mir savage is plain stupid. He isn't even accepting the privilege his sons have gotten. A very self centred statement by him and even an ignorant one and the worst part is , that he seems to be too proud of what he is saying. Would his sons have been treated or got the same kind of projects if they didn't belong to that background? Maybe Ahad has done well for himself but what about Adnan? Would he have gotten the same projects if he would come from a normal background? He would not have even gotten a sidey's role , second male lead to door ki baat hai, and what about Haroon and Zaviyar, they too would have met the same fate. They neither have acting skills, screen presence nor talent.
There are some really good actors who have great acting skills and look good too but have been doing supporting roles since ages or playing leads in soaps and they are rebuffed by classist critics like Amna in the name of ki 'audience does not want to see them as leads or they lack screen presence. Bhai unhe roles to do waise, tab screen presence aayegi na?
Just look at Wahaj , the guy had everything including looks and decent acting skills since the start but is getting recognition now ( i know, it's getting over though but still). He and Ahmed Ali Akbar both played second fiddle to Ahad in Ehd e Wafa who was almost a newbie at that time. If Wahaj was a son of a big actor or director, he wouldn't have to wait for this long. Aaj Wahaj Wahaj ho raha hai, but sometime back, he wasn't even getting proper lead roles. It's true, that if you are a nepo kid, you definitely get easy launch and projects in comparison to others. But the worst thing is that none of them acknowledge that including Mr. Mir. One thing is good by uncle Mir here that he said "they have to pay the price for being a nepokid" and that's true. Kahi to issues hone chahiye na, you can't have a smooth ride everywhere.

That definitely wasn't a savage reply esp when he said we don't stand outside momina's house for roles. That's the exact thing. His sons don't have to stand outside momona's door. Momina will come to their door with the best script out there. The struggling people are the ones who stand outside momina's doors.
Ahad might be decent enough but he only got back to back lead roles only because he is a nepo. He and Bilal started around the same time. Bilal started with supporting roles and second lead roles in not so big dramas and his first big project as a lead was orangreza which is very female oriented. On the other hand ahad after one small role when straight away to do a lead role in a top director and writer's drama. Bilal didn't even got nominated in the best actor category but somehow he even managed to win one when even sajal didn't get an award at lux. Osma, wahaj and Ahmed who were more senior had to play second fedel to a newbie. Osman even had multiple successful dramas under his belt before edw and he still ended up being a second lead. All the three easily overshadowed ahad even though they didn't even get half his screentime. It's funny how bilal with just a little experience at a theatre in Karachi managed to prove himself to be much more versatile than ahad who studied acting for 4yrs abroad.
Ahad's acting skills only comes third when it comes to his success and popularity, first is his bg and the second is his association with sajal.

Completely agree.
That's the main issue. These people are hyped to the skies for even a little different character. Although, Ahad's role in YKS wasn't that different, it's just that the overall drama was good so his performance looked good. Like Bilal has almost done all the different characters in real sense but the guy wasn't hyped like the way Ahad has been hyped for Yakeen ka Safar or his other dramas. Osman, Wahaj, and Ahmed were sidelined like anything in Ehd E Wafa despite they managed to overshadow him.. But I am glad, that after Ehd e Wafa, they got good projects where people noticed their worth. Talking about acting, to be honest, I couldn't warm up to Ahad's acting in any of his dramas except YKS. He wasn't good in Hum Tum and it was Junaid who had far more better comic timing than him. He is talented no doubt but still needs to work more to reach a level for the skills he is hyped for.

Everytime ahad has another male character opposite him he easily gets overshadowed. That's not a sign of a good actor. He had parallel male leads in ehd e wafa and hum tum, two shows he did without sajal and in both he got overshadowed by Osman, wahaj, Ahmed and Junaid.
At this point we can safely say his character in yks is good more because of the writer and director instead of him. Any decent enough actor could have made that character memorable. If wahaj or Ahmed or bilal did that it would have been a similar hit. All the strong scenes from the drama were of sajal's. Her character had multiple layers and went through different stages and she nailed every single one of it but he ended up getting an award and she didn't
. The scene were she fights back at her brother is such a powerful scene. She even stood on her own when she showed mirror to her father played by Noman ijaz in orangreza. Sajal can manage to steal a scene from Noman ijaz and ahad cannot even manage to not get overshadowed by his own contemporaries.

Her emotional breakdown scene with Bilal in O rangreza was also portrayed beautifully.
She did not get nominated for Chammi I guess in Aangan but her portrayal was again top notch. She over shadowed Mawra...
