Tab toh it was certified as sacrifice!!! Why is abhi's love for Akshara and abhir has become over mahaan!!! He was always clear about his love for Akshara!!! And since he got know abhir's truth, he has always been there for him as well being a father.

Akshara is the one who was and is desparate to find a father for her children!!!

And Abhinav was both selfish and desparate. Woh abhi ko lamba bhashan deta phirta tha ke pyar kisiko bandhta nahi, Azad karta hai!! Aur khud insecurity mein doob kar Akshara ko manipulate karta tha!!! This was desparation.

Who is denying that abhinav did the same. Here the discussion was about abhiM particularly but that doesn't mean one is giving a free pass to abhinav.

There's something known as coparenting which he could have opted for in this scenario. There's no guarantee that this marriage wil give him any gain in context of securing a place in his son's life. Afterall Akshara wouldn't think twice in kicking him again if at any point she perceives abhimanyu to be a threat to abhinav's child or his memories , consequently again depriving abhimanyu of abhir.

I like you, don't agree to this decision of Abhi to get married to Ak. Its just been stupid from the beginning like Manjari keeps saying. You can't get married for dosti, esp when one of you is very obviously in love and the other very obviously isn't.

But...I don't think his decision is because of over mahaanta or desperation or bechargi. At this point it does seem to be his only real choice to have a somewhat stable life. Abhir wanted a complete family and Abhi himself wanted that forever. To have his complete family with Ak and Abhir. In a lot of way this was realizing that dream, but also paying the price for his mistakes by having that relationship be only friendship. He said that he was doing this to make up for his mistake, he is glad to have the chance to be a good husband to her. And that is what he is trying to do.

After all of that, her pregnancy news is out. I am sure he will be shocked and maybe even hurt. But at the end of the day his initial reasons for the marriage still stand. They still have Abhir between them and there is no reason why he can't accept Abhinav's kid. His love is not that shallow nor based on her actions and we have already established that long ago. Which is why everyone here was sure that Abhi won't reject Ak despite the misleading precap.

And the selfish point is this, if he doesn't marry Ak, she may end up marrying someone else. We all know it doesn't take her long to move on. What about Abhir then? He will be back in the same place he was for the past few months, where Ak will try to invalidate his position to make her new husband feel better about his. And after marriage, Abhi would have legal rights, not to be kicked out of Abhir's life again. That is also there. Yes he will have to tiptoe around her forever and all of that is true, but I don't think he himself cares about all of that anymore. He is just trying to do the right thing and for that I can respect him.

He is just not thinking about the long term impact on him and how much he will have to suffer in this relationship or how much he can even tolerate, which is what is stupid.
