~ Episode Highlights ~ The Loophole In NeiVika

Today's episode was disappointing....

Very very disappointing....

But NOT because Neil didn't save Yuvika.

In fact they have executed Neil not being there really well by making him ironically being there only

Disappointing because,

The lead from some other off aired show Haseena got a ramp walk entry scene in the middle of such a crucial scene where our female lead has met with such as brutal accident while her male lead was just in walking distance away

This is sooo freaking cruel behaviour towards a fandom

They needs to understand that, Vanshaj has its own fanbase & among them many viewers like me watch this show only for Vanshaj Characters. I am not at all getting the purpose of her character in Vanshaj that too on 100 Episodes Special week unless and until she reveals that Neil Bharadawaj is ACP Neil Bharadawaj, who has a certain power and position which he can use in future against Mahajans.

Vanshaj already has a huge number of casts list and viewers are already done with so less screen space for Neil & such slow speed of the storytelling. Many people complain how Vanshaj is boring because the story hardly moves & lead couple has such less scenes together despite of having Mohit-Anjali's sizzling chemistry. Now even I am done with it.

Most importantly, Vanshaj needs to strike a healthy balance between SUSPENSE & EMOTIONS. In order to built too much suspense they kills emotions specifically with NeiVika.

The suspense & mystery around Neil killing the emotions surrounding NeiVika.

That guy knows Yuvika since her Rishikesh days, apparently he fell for her in Rishikesh only, apparently Yuvika too developed a certain attraction or liking for him in Rishikesh only because when NeiVika met each other in Delhi they visibly looked glad to meet each other again. Yuvika was even complaining about Neil vanishing in Rishikesh. Since episode 13 Vanshaj viewing experience gives this impression only that they fell for each other in Rishikesh something that Neil does acknowledges to himself but Yuvika keeps it suppressed/hidden whatever even from herself because she has this tendency of focusing only certain things and dismissing other emotions.

Their first Delhi meeting certainly established a "Falling in love phase in Rishikesh" because so far their Delhi journey is all about growing attachments, developing friendship, being partner in mission, growing in love but NOT falling in love.

But we still have not got the damnnn

RISHIKESH Trekking Trip Flashbacks where our leads actually fell in love with each other. Where they actually started liking each other and from where their actual journey started.

We still don't know how NEIL Looked at her when he saw her for the very first time,

We still don't know how Neil knows that Yuvika loves Samosa with chatni.

We still don't know how he felt when he saw her with Prem Mahajan.

We still don't know that in Rishikesh exactly what Yuvika saw in Neil that itne saloon baad bhi ushe Neil ka Naam yaad raha in Delhi because Yuvika is not someone jo Kisi random ladke ka naam 3 saal tak yaad rakhegi, woh Ladki yeh bhul gayi thi ki Isha ko kisse allergy hai.

We still don't know anything about those Rishikesh moments of NeiVika. Because apparently Swastik wants to develop mystery around Neil It's almost episode 100 and fans are still wondering whether Neil is Police Officer or Arpita is idiot

After so much wait when we are finally getting to know few things about Neil, his backstory, his emotions, his childhood trauma.

When Yuvika has finally started showing her emotions for Neil which she has always avoided

BOOOMMM we are being forced to take a lead from some other show coming into our show and eating that already less screen space of NeiVika because male lead ko guilt trip pe bhejna hai for giving more priority to HIS OWN FATHER

He is Neil Bharadawaj. Who KNOWS the difference between the sound of a tyre burst and sound of a bloody accident.

(LMAO I felt like giving a tight slap to that biker who told Neil it's tyre burst but thankfully Neil did say yeh tyre burst tho nehi tha & saved my sanity )

He can easily draw a balance between Vidur's SON & Yuvika's LOVER. Yaaar dikha dete aaj hi ki Poha khake nikla hai

What's the need of sooo much suspense around Neil which kills our emotions attached with the lovestory of NeiVika

Now you guys will make him regret all these when he is just trying to save his father

Poor guy.

In order to fit a cameo compromising own lead couple.

Showing OUR 5G KRISHNA a Victim of circumstances is not something I signed up as a viewer. That's it.

Honestly speaking to me this points towards only one thing. They don't want to focus on love story and make it central point. Because everyone knows that in ITV if a love story gets liked people don't want to watch anything else even though if the original story and plot is very good. Many shows have suffered due to this. And this might be very disheartening to a few but can still work if the story and execution is right. Which it has been for 100 episodes neglecting Chomutik here and there. So at this moment your post is completely right about neglecting Neil and Neivika even though they behave like made for each other married couple.

So unless Nastik decides to focus on love story part this will happen. And my experience says they will not do it this year. 2 months they have to be water tight with thrill elements to stay alive during WorldCup and people have got saturated with love stories . Then it will be Kabaddi and Bigg Boss that would be taking away the time slot TRP.

Of course they can show it both and blend it well but i doubt ANY ITV PH has the capability to do this.

I don't have a personal preference because Romance and Thriller and my fav genres and anything will work for me till it's executed well.

I knew somewhere deep down that he might not save her because of they got this accident thing not only for the plot but also to promote Haseena as her new saarthi (). But I was expecting to see Neil at least in the precap. For the first time it felt like they gave the whole episode's preview instead of preview of a particular scene. They could've showed Neil at least getting to know ajkut the accident in the precap even if he didn't come rushing to see her. But they didn't. What's the whole point if he can't see her actual bloody state? That's what I had been waiting impatiently for but it didn't happen. It won't happen now for she's getting operated. He'll get her glimpse only in those bandages.

I cracked up after reading the first line, you should've posted the cap in which he was smiling ear to ear while he was saying "This is the consent form Bhumi"

That ramp walk thing was pretty infuriating , even i mentioned about it in yesterday's review of the episode , was that ramp walk and baton swirling realaly necessary in an accident sire?

Swtheart..you are expecting a lot from makers

Unhe 94-95 episodes lage Neil ki backstory bataane me in which 1 episode dedicated to Neil, and you are expecting these detailings in neivika story.

I knew that Neil will not come in accident site as everyone expected to build up of regret and guilt for him. (Though i am not in favour of this regret business)

They want to ghusofy their HM to fetch trp and attract MS fandom as world cup is near. All these tactics are for those days.

I stop expecting a long back regarding anything for neil and neivika. One of the reason why i don't get disappointed nowadays.

Love story pe focus nehi Karna tha tho Neil ko introduce hi nehi Karna tha

Anjali - Mohit ko cast hi nehi karna tha

You really think based on this thriller elements of so called elders of family behind the life of their own daughter is going to give them TRP?

NOOOO. The most talked about character in Vanshaj is Neil. Last week audience got back interest in Vanshaj because it was Bharadawaj's track going on.

People can skip episode & get updates from elsewhere about the thriller bit they really don't need to watch it.

It's only those Emotionally rich scenes, those feelings attached scenes, that freaking LOVE STORY which people actually craves to watch with own eyes to enjoy the beauty of it, to feel it.

Who on their right mind neglects love story to maintain TRP ?

In fact they should maintain the feels using love story more during world cup & big boss.

I'm ok with them focusing on story in fact that's the beauty of Vanshaj but please not killing the love story.

They wasted so much time on Kartik, they gives useless scenes to Arjun bas NEIL pe focus Karne mein, Neil pe ek promo dene mein maut aati hai.

Many offline viewers still don't know that Vanshaj has a parallel love story going on, they could've used Neil's promo to target new audiences instead of targetting MS fans certainly because MS always had low TRP than Vanshaj.

Technically MS isn't promoting Vanshaj, Vanshaj is promoting MS

I never asked them to make the love story central point in fact I don't want that at all but they are literally killing my interest with dragging NeiVika instead of parallely serving NeiVika.

With only thriller elements people will get bored.

Only NeiVika are the breath of fresh air amidst the heavy politics and drama if they don't value NeiVika they won't be able run in the race with only thriller elements.
