Hi, am Sydell Fernandes, you can call me Syd/Sid or Princess (because my name's meaning is Princess in Hebrew)

In IF I have previously written many fanfictions and then happened to be a reader Jasmine Rahul, who had seen a potential in me and suggested me that I should make this as my career, an d then I did pursued it, while trying to be an assistant director I had suffered because I just started my career, and then I lost 2 years of work life because of Covid and no shows in hand to work as a assistant director when I stay so far and the set was not close by, and because of that I was feeling FOMO that my other colleagues in the industry who were with me have done shows during the lockdown (when there was limited restrictions while I was still lagging behind) but I sticked to my writing passion and wrote a webseries for which the idea I had got way back in 2018, because I wanted to deliver.By 2019 I had completed first season and during 2020 I had completed the second.And I had already started pitching for my story before the pandemic hit and I still am but always facing rejections because a) for it being a romantic story b) being big budget on my story pitch c) for thinking of getting TV actors on board.But what I feel is that these all baseless rejection remarks because there are many movies that have been made with new actors (this I am saying because producers feel TV actors don't sell) but still became a hit because of a storyline.

If you have a good story to tell, and a good character sketch it doesn't matter who is the actor or actress.

Yes it can be also that they are rejecting the story line because the female character is bold, strong level- headed and not a seedi saadi girl.

Usually it is the guy who is bold and he had a lot of flings and he can do anything basically and he gets the clean chit and gets tamed when he meets the girl grounds him, then why can't a girl?

Why can't a female lead be shown as a girl who drinks,smokes and has flings and her ideologies change over the course of time because she has to get her shravan kumar guy?

So yeah that's a little insight into my Novel series In Your Memories Book 1 and In Your Memories Book 2 which is the official novel adaptation of my script written by my co author Invi S.

Both are available on Amazon and Flipkart respectively.

This book series is a Trilogy, where 3rd novel will be released in Volume 1 and Volume 2.

Just came to know about this forum. I write a lot on IF, so thought this should be a place for me. To see what all goes with our writers here and know about my fellow writers on IF.

For me, I have been writing in If from last 12 years.Wrote a lot for three years then took a break of eight years from IF. But I am back on IF mainly for writing the fan fiction and I am enjoying here with my readers.
