Problem right now is unnecessary character assassination. I mean they are giving so much screentime to Maya and Teji. But, for once, it didn't occur to them to show their human side? That human side which feels pain because by doing this they will be separating Viaan from his beacon of happiness that is Katha ?

Teji and Maya should feel sad whenever they see Viaan happy with Katha and realizing that they will be breaking this beautiful family but, they have to do it for Viaan. They are literally killing all the nuances of the character.

This was the same show which gave so much nuance to Viaan when he was about to fulfil his ONS demand. There was a clear reluctance to not do so and his mind was convinced Katha will not come there and just to prove to himself that Katha will not come he went to hotel. His dialogues "paise ki itni jaldi hai?", and he then going to window in frustration disappointed. These scenes did convey something about the internal struggles of character. This same nuance was present during the Seema-Vaanya track. Where he struggled to hate the person, and hard to accept Vaanya's demand.

I mean where are all those nuances???? Now imagine if Viaan's side wasn't portrayed to audiences and he directly came to hotel room and spent the night. And, imagine the dialogue which he said after Katha left hotel "Toh yeh sirf ek bussiness transaction tha. Very professional Katha" was removed. These dialogues and acting gave us audience an insight into the minds of character. Audience had obvious reasons to hate Viaan but, those dialogues, that acting kept the audience at bay and prevented them from revolting on streets for glorifying a love story between an abuser and victim.

That execution, those dialogues and those insights made this seemingly impossible love story feel possible and believable and beautiful while giving beautiful messages along the way.

I have no problem with Maya and Teji having evil motives. They tried to point at the pressure points of their relationships, it was fine. Those problems would have come later its good they got sorted now. They didn't artificially construct any misunderstanding.

BUT, when they realized that Viaan gave such a disgusting offer to Katha and fulfilled it. I mean they should have felt something. NO, ye sochte hai ki isse shaadi toot sakti hai ya nahi, I mean seriously?. Maya should have been speechless and Teji should have a breakdown with some emotional music. I mean how come it was normal. I was waiting for this moment to see their human side which is not just a marriage breaker but, also a mother who is in disbelief. And, what about Maya? Does she even love Viaan?

Instead of breakdown and disgust at Viaan, we saw chalo shaadi todte hai kya hua laadle ne kisi ki izzat maang li ho. Aur thora sa Teji ka rota hua muh. I mean anyone's mom would feel disgusted at knowing this and question herself and her upbringing and they are so casual about it.

Ok, ye chhoro, what about the moment where they came to know Viaan said such a statement against women "All women are gold-diggers and opportunistic". I mean then also they should have questioned their upbringing.

This is hard to digest they are taking such serious and sensitive issues so lightly. Even entire twitter is enraged at this.

I think Ravi Bhushan Sir (He is director of Katha Ankahee and one of the reason this show is so good) was present during this track.

Now, I think, did he leave the show because he wanted to move on in his career or because he realized he messed up the story and now, he will be bullied so better leave the battlefield.

Even if he messed up, after all he is director and storywring is in someone else's department. Still mad respects to him because of the way he showed all those nuances and acting on screen and gave proper sceentime to actor and his acting. And doing that for 204 episodes is no easy feat.

But, I have a question, as per Indian society, how can they break their relationship with this truth? Society will push them more to get married after revealation even if they weren't in love.

Here, only Viaan will be shamed. Neither Katha will leave him for other people nor society. Rather Katha might stand with him and face the society.

Anyways such an idiotic move by negative characters.

When I first watched, thought finally ITV got inspiration, specially after that night then guilt, everything was on point.

Phir aya Vanya track i almost skipped all episodes including leads, no connection with values

Makers can't just keep the story in line, they have to bring some unreal nonsense.

Even if his family is spoilt. But, atleast they should feel something for Viaan. Teji was against Katha for reasonable reasons. But, she was never anti-Viaan. That human side of Teji which is mother of Viaan and deeply loves him is missing in action.

Vaanya track was also good and made sense. Its just that press conference was not required. Embrace Vaanya is OK, forgiving Seema is OK. But, declaring them Raguvanshi Family in front of Media, Not OK. Its family matter, do it in front of family.

They focussed on the unintended Victims of this whole fiasco, that is Viaan and Vaanya who had no fault and no connection with the affairs of their parents but, they suffered and suffered enough. After this much suffering it was better to put an end to this suffering. Viaan for majority of his life was in a depressed state. Vaanya was just an infant when her father died. Childhood of both of these children was kind of ruined. Right now neither Viraaj is alive nor Seema is in senses to answer his questions. They received their Karma already. Now, what about Vaanya?

Teji is against of everything which goes against her, she was so goody goody when their POV was same. It was never shown if she supports Viaan when they disagree on topic. Viaan always accepted her decision in everything untill Katha. But their POV isn't same now, that's where clash is happening. Teji is always selfish.

Yeah.... You are right. Now I think about it, it makes sense. I just remembered the way she said. "Viaan! Ab tu apne maa ke against jayega". Even though Viaan was calmly explaining her his love for Katha and Teji didn't even hate Katha at that time but, still she didn't approve. Teji had already been a grey character but, was dormant the whole time. Also, makes sense from where Teji gets all her negativity. Actually makes me feel a bit positive about this track of the show.

Still some hope left for Farah

I will watch this show after this entire track gets over. I have sem exams as well so, can't think much as well. In some ways, it is good that this show is at such a stage that I can hate it and don't watch it and focus on other important things. Still have faith on writers so I will start watching eventually.

Nothing was shown but we may get in flashback . What I think would have happened - Rewa must have told Maya Maasi about the goodness of Katha in being a best mother , best wife she had been and how Mr G was thinking her to be Gold digger and hence denied the help . Remember Katha told her everything . Also remember Reet said the same thing about Katha being a gold digger . From here on , Maya Maasi came into action . I think she is intentionally doing this to Garewals and then only they can see the light what Kailash thinking has done . Also somewhere teach a lesson to Viaan as his thinking was also same . Also I feel somewhere down the line ( it is Not shown to us - but might have happened or May not ) that Maya Maasi would have shown the real picture to Teji and now both would have been together and playing along . Afterall she is also a mother and no mother can be so cruel and heartless . Her upbringing is not totally wrong , as she only taught Viaan that if you have done some grave mistake , then ask for forgiveness truly that other one has to forgive you . And all this might be revealed to monumentous day . After all the Dargah scene can’t go to waste as everything will sort out . This has to be the twist I am hoping . Fingers crossed!! If this happens , this would be the fitting twist guys . What do you think ??? Almost 200 episodes connection can be linked .

I will be very disappointed if this is not the case . And if I go by logic , it’s not possible that Maya Maasi would not have taken personal opinion from Farah about Katha and she was impressed and I can see she would have contributed to Maya point . Also remember Maya Maasi gave the eye signal to Teji in yesterday precap ( today episode ) . I think both Maya and Teji are in this together , even if they are not , I won’t mind as long as Maya is positive which I am thinking yo be . So I have all the reasons to be optimistic about this track .

Don't think anyone would like such a twist. And, I don't think anything like this will happen. They are impressed with Katha but,

• They don't want their son, only Raghuvanshi to marry a woman who they think won't give enough attention to Viaan as Aarav will always be her first priority and her son definitely deserves better.
• Since Viaan has met Katha, Teji, from her perspective has only observed tensions increasing between her and Viaan.
• Katha revealed Teji's past and according to her, manipulated her son against her. So, this was what happened when Katha was an outsider. Now, imagine what happens when she becomes an insider.
• Now, Katha can't conceive which means an end of Raguvanshi Lineage.

So, reasons for her to be Anti-Katha is very much valid. Even if it will break Viaan, she needs to think about herself as well.
