Dharma Productions has signed Salman Khan for its big-budget action movie to be directed by Shershaah fame director Vishnuvardhan. The untitled movie will see the Bollywood superstar in the role of a paramilitary officer. Now the hunt is on to rope in a leading lady who will elevate the value of the movie further. Reportedly, Karan Johar wants to introduce a fresh pair with this movie and hence is looking out for an actress who has never worked with Salman Khan before.

Nayanthara and Shah Rukh Khan’s fresh pairing has been loved by the audience and hence Karan now wants to rope in a leading South Indian beauty to star opposite the Bharat actor. Rumours are adrift that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently in talks with the leading Bollywood producer-director for the leading role in Salman Khan-movie. But she has a competition in the form of Trisha Krishnan who is also a very popular and beautiful South Indian actress.

She received a lot of appreciation for her role in PS1 and PS2 and has now teamed up with Mani Ratnam as the leading lady of Kamal Haasan in their upcoming movie. So there is tough competition between Samantha and Trisha as of now to bag the role of leading lady in Salman’s next.

Even Salman is keen to do something different and has decided not to experiment with the newcomers after the severe criticism that he faced for his last release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. But Jawan worked because of Deepika, no one is talking about the South actress, even SRK called Deepika to the celebration yesterday.
