As per Saba Mumtaz, ex writer of Yrkkh1 & 3, Star Plus instructed Rajan Shahi to copy or incorporate Ichche Nodee into the narrative of Gen 3.

That was one of the conditions for extending Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Aarohi came into this world because RS said yes to all terms ans conditions put forth by SP.

Entire 712 episodes revolved around 3 chkts.

Likewise other producers were instructed to copy shows from Star Jalsa

Ganja, tamrinda, upma followed the format for a min of 12 months.

In IN it was imperative that AR turns totally negative, which wasn't done. As per the original narrative her khands were supposed to be show stoppers, well she got full protection from the writers. Entire team started making all the characters grey, during the mandir drama, the leads were portrayed in a very bad light. It looked as if Aarohi ke saath galat hua hai.

1.0 trp audience mass exodus guaranteed.

No proper built up of side chkts or subplots.

Hospital politics tracks were about Aarohi and Mahima's plotting with min exposure. When Akshara revealed the wrongs done by AR, she kept on apologising and she was forgiven also.

Story proceeded from accidents to suicide attempts finally deaths..

A doc divorcing his pregnant wife while she suffered from spontaneous abortion sealed the deal.

Similarly a music therapist acting irresponsible after falling in love, trying to protect the wrong doings of her family members also did not sit well with d audiences.

On top of it two mature individuals were forced to behave like kids.

Making way for second chance innings. A mature love story where the female lead boards a bus and gets married to a stranger who takes over from ex husband.

Writers managed to make Abhira repulsive, enough of proof on IF

What can be said about trp audiences.

If they could not accept Abhira then how will they watch them now when FL had declared eternal love for her asli jeevansathi.

Who wants to follow a failed marriage.

main issue was this rs dkp always wanted abhirohi ,as main pair and arohi was lead ,actual story was to make arohi negative,and proper characteriscetetrisation of abhira which which original writers gave but suddenly after mandir confrontation changed and core writers of dkp who would write whatever dkp says took over ,never gave proper character development of akshara

What investing a lot of romantic scenes between Abhi and Akshara 🤣. After their wedding, they just had drama after drama. Abhi and Akshara barely had any peaceful months without family drama. Before Abhinav’s entry, for months the drama was around Arohi being a vamp.

Abhira fans themselves aren’t happy with the current track because it’s not executed well.

I definitely agree with your bold statement.

He ruined the female lead a lot, with Abhi- Akshnav fans sl*t shamed her. With Abhinav- Abhi solo fans cussed her out. It was sad to see how much the actual actress was getting hate in her insta page for a fictional character. She was getting way more hate than the two guys compared.

Didn't he say this gen was about 2 people in love with the idea of love. That he invested a lot on Abhira & their romantic scenes.. but audience wasn't interested in watching that.. therefore they'd to introduce the ckt of Abhinav who infused freshness in the show.. otherwise it would've shut shop mts back. That Abhinav is a protagonist along with Akshara Abhimanyu.

Later he said Abhinav was a cameo in the journey of Abhira. And I'm not watching (so u can correct me if I'm wrong) but I think they would surely be showing some made for eo destiny kinda nonsense to justify this nth reunion.

If we take prev ivs seriously latter don't make sense and vice-versa.

As per me, his vision for this gen lacks consistency & commitment. He thot bcos Kasauli track worked successfully, so this change in course would work too, but it didn't. And I'm givin leverage of one more wk to this awesome intense story before declaring it as audience rejection

If we start analyzing what went wrong , the latest strategy of sp with all their shows is wrong . Tracks are changed every week, sometimes even days with no consistency in any character. There is no story.

If.abhin was working why did rs kill him off ? My ques is If abhira were working why bring abhin? They keep experimenting with tracks to see what's working . Luckily 90% of their experiments failed. Abhin lasted for 8 months only bec trps were good. In that also there was scope for the story development but they were never sure of what they were doing .

@bold they had so much scope and drama here but everything was so badly executed cos they wanted to satisfy weirdly both the ships, the potential drama element wasn’t well utilised

see after a point TRP became stagnant in all shows. So they introduce the shock factor, which was supposed to be Abhinav’s death for TRP audience, hence they killed him off. They thought after that they can sustain it with their usual stories and since abhira are the leads, since sairat gave that sudden TRP jump in the last week, abhira would do cos reunion was long in the cards for fans etc, but guess TRP audience exeoected something else. They probably waited for custody battle and Akshara being lawyer for it, or maybe they found abhiM to be guilty and sus, and we’re waiting for Akshara to get justice for abhinav , but it went the ulta way.

Yeah drama element is completely missing since a very long time. Hell which show won't utilize the court scenes and mute them? The writers were this lazy to write down the arguments , it's laughable.

Aksharas lawyer giri is a pathetic joke.

I won't they were catering to both the ships..if that was the case , akshu would never move on..even anupama aunty and sai kept switching their feelings between ex and current husband but akshu clearly , very clearly took a stand against abhim , in favour of abhin.

I seriously haven't seen shittier shows on sp...recent ones like pandya store , ghum, aunpama , Imlie, have been shitty after a good start but, the bar is really low.....its only recently they've started experimenting so much ..a track which is changed if trp is low , if it still doesn't work for a few weeks , therez a leap, if the leap doesn't work, generation leap with completely new cast , rinse and repeat.

I can safely assume that if trps are low for another 2-3 weeks , abhira will say permanent goodbye to yrkkh.

Rishta is known for richness

Only Abhinav and Ak love story in entire yeh rishta was at low cost.

Otherwise even ranveer sirat wedding was more grand

And also vedika kartik

When he invested I m sure you are talking about jaipur episodes

And intial episodes

They got the desired trp

Even their wedding had around 2.4 in ipl

Hmm I heard rishta has a knack for showing rich families & big functionsn. Investment might not have been used in monetary terms.. but in terms of creating grand scenes 🤔

The articles that I read, some of them posted here on IF, had the term invested. Rest I've really no idea why he says what. I've stopped attaching any meaning to his words.

@bold As I replied to someone just now with a similar query, the articles I read on SM & IF had these words. Rest what exactly he said and why can only be assured by contacting Rajan himself

As to receiving hate, it could be ur perception that PR received most hate but I think it's untrue. All actors have received unecesary hate and KS & JS have been the victims since start. Pragati, who plays Mahima, was bashed just for taking stand against trolling.

But yeah I completely agree that a ckt like Akshara who was bashable since the start, has reached a pt of no return.

How is 2.4 a desired trp? Even if it's during IPL... They are leads and Rishta ke leads ki shaadi... When show centered around people opposing Abhira and Arohi ka exposing, show had 3 ke aas paas ka ratings...

MuKa - so called side characters of the show had 2.2 during their wedding... So, 2.4 is very low bar for Rishta wedding.

It wasn't a real wedding to make investments but the promos and scenes were made much richer than usual scenes...
