LOL Parent Trap is a great trope to use and has anyways been used for a long time on ITV.

They should have used this a long time back with Abhir once he found out who his real Papa was and wanting to get his parents back together.....but they wasted so much time on Nav....lol

So looks like they are belatedly trying to use it now.....and I don't mind...but I don't have high expectations from their ability to be able to execute this

All this just again makes it so obvious that Nav was just a roadblock in everyone's story....lol otherwise these were the obvious things that all the characters should have realized months back. They forcibly never acknowledged the obvious cuz Nav was in place as token husband to Ak so no one was ALLOWED to think about the fact that Abhira belong together as a family.

After todays episode, one thought for me was - if this was that easy then why all that mess for 8mnths - why ruin AK to that level where people just hated the sight of her in a scene (just talking abt me here 😅)?! Again - this should have happened during Abhi’s accident - her love for Abhi should have over come EVERYTHING (mata’s blame/BPs warning) since she also had that kind of love on him during that time…things should have had changed during his accident as everyone was expecting….but the crap we were made to see & endure is beyond my understanding - wat to take this as? Favoritism, episode count, didn’t want to close the loop soon, no good story line 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ but this PH had to learn the lesson hard way…as HC said, u will feel the heat, if u mess up with the audience…❤️

Hahahaha both scenarios I want Muski have to accept the Kid as bhaiji was hailed for the same.

Or if she takes a bus and meet another acha admi Kairav have to accept that fact like Abhi did coz that was hailed too.

My guess is all of the bold above - they want to drag the story, increase episode count while still maintaining the interest of the audience - which is all fine.

But I don’t think they should have taken Abhinav-Akshara this far from tangible story point of view.

Either Abhinav should have been turned grey or could have stayed positive and made Akshara realise that she was just angry at Abhimanyu but still loves him and then exited.

This whole second troupe love thing didn’t make any sense and rather just annoyed one section of audience then and another section now. What was the point of it 🤷‍♀️ utter bewakofi in my opinion!!

Cameo gave her "sindoor ki lakeer" to hide behind na....lol woh husband ka thappa tha that they used to paint her as unattainable for Abhimanyu now.....bas yehi kaam tha cameo ka.

Cuz otherwise Abhi would have called bullshit on her attempting to say she doesn't love him anymore....so she used the acquired namesake pati to claim this is why she doesn't love Abhi anymore and that is how she succeeded in pushing him away

LOL cuz that is how they usually do it in ITV.....pretend like one problem is unsolvable until one day it all gets solved easily by all the people magically understanding

For 8 months, they pushed the narrative that Ak has to stay with Nav as her husband now cuz he is "phoolon ka bageecha" blah blah - they just played around with it by kabhi saying they are just living as parents to Abhir, kabhi being like now they are moving forward as husband-wife.....lol just timepass chal raha tha to pretend like Abhira are not possible anymore. Phir jab situation fix karne ka time aaya toh Nav ko udaa diya and within a month all characters are magically understanding that Abhira belong together as a family

Just ITV things for growing episode count.....strictly business, nothing personal

Thanks, Nisha :)....In general, makers have flip flopped Ak a lot in this leap but from the Manjiri trauma track onwards, it does seem like they have switched gears to officially showing Ak wanting to unburden Abhi from guilt rather than piling on more guilt on him. Maybe that's what that whole promo was about too even though everything else in it was misleading about Abhi supposedly mistaking her friendship for love

The bench scene also gave the vibe that Abhi is holding back only cuz he believes it's a permanent no from Ak.....the way he said to Manjiri ki jo baat ho hi nahin sakti, uske baare mein kya sochna - that makes it clear that he thinks there is no scope of Ak ever agreeing to reunite.

One interesting thing the writers have done is atleast not made them pretend like the love, the feelings don't exist anymore....In any regular exes situation, that is what happens....the love isn't there anymore, that is why no one wants to reunite. But here that's not the case.....here everyone can see that once the blame games stop, Abhira are totally functioning as a family together - the affection and happiness is obvious and palpable. Ak also knows that affection and happiness is there - she's just resisting the idea of giving it the label of marriage again. And Abhi is mostly just taking his cues from whatever Ak desires cuz he just wants peace and calm between them now.

It is Ak who has to go through processing whatever confusions she has in her mind now but it's obvious that makers are showing her getting affected by proximity to Abhi again....those hugs aren't casual as she wants to dismiss them to be

I am just hoping this time around we have Akshara proposing to Abhi 😅 It would help make up for some of the things she has done. And then have Abhi be confused about it. We can then have a parellel of kyun, kyun, kyun but played out in a different way so she can explain herself

I want them to talk about the things happened between them and sort it out inshort I want them to talk their heart out. And uske baad ek dusre ko bole huya sare baton k liye mafi mange. And then uske baad if they wanna be together then it would be good.

LOL I don't know if that's possible....cuz that would make it too obvious that she always loved Abhi...and makers still seem to be showing the obligatory mentions of Nav in case someone accuses them of moving on from him too quickly

It's more likely there won't be a direct proposal but it will just end up happening in flow somehow....like Abhir probably asking Ak and Abhi about their feelings and bringing them to some kind of realization that they should be together now.

I would like to see an Abhi-Abhir one on one convo about his love for Ak....waise bhi they haven't gotten a one on one convo in a while now. Abhir has been parked with Ruhi mostly

Dunno why I'm getting the feeling they may still go the route of somehow making Abhi regain his confidence in pursuing Ak and managing to get a confession out of her again.....since they do love their throwbacks....and they don't have the guts to show Ak really initiating anything since they still have to give a nod to her widow status
