Btw how is India 'isolated' if world leaders have gathered here for G20 and praising India towards its approach on various issues?

India is verging on an autocracy and whatever message you want to give can only be done extremely subtly. Nobody wants to have fake charges thrust on them by various agencies (ED, NCB, etc) and be thrown in jail. People have been known to get harassed and arrested for writing opposing opinions on their own private Whatsapp.

Biden couldn't even give a press conference from India because Modi refuses to answer any questions or be accountable to anyone so he can't have other leaders showing anything different. Instead, Biden has to do it from Vietnam.

Modi and his team are well known to force celebs to tweet on their behalf. SRK tried to mark himself and his family safe from harassment. You do what you are pressured to do because nobody holds any real power against state machinery.

What about those n number of hate mongers who abuse Modi and his team day in and day out on social media and random articles in random publications? Why aren't they jailed? Most of the chaos, hate and negativity will disappear if they do

Do you think jingoistic activists will no longer be triggered by safron bikinis and stop rape/murder threats if some publication houses who are not Modi's allies, are banned?

If the ones creating ‘unnecessary’ noise are jailed, there won’t be noise. There won’t be a Manipur video released, won’t be a Tripta Tyagi video, or won’t be a peeing-on-a-dalit video. Will these incidents stop though ?
