You recommended Ludo right? I don't know if I am behaving like a blind fan girl right now. But as much as I loved the film and Aditya/Sanya's chemistry. He needs to be paired with more good actresses like that. But i was not so sure about Sanya's character. I hate the term gold digger. It is often used by men who can't take no for an answer and need to further abuse the girl afterward to make themselves feel better. But Sanya's character was going to marry someone rich when she clearly had feelings for another man. Maybe the film was meant to show that is the way society often conditions women. To believe in fairytales. Find Prince Charming (richie rich) and all your problems will be washed away. And don't look for someone you can be genuinely happy with. The two characters clearly clicked from their first date. They did not show how happy she was with the man she was supposedly supposed to marry.
And the ending scene. Akash got shot and she left with her fiance? She did not even run to him to make sure he was ok? What type of love is that? Then she comes back to her senses at the end and he automatically forgives her. Akash was a really loving guy. And I guess love makes you blind. I skimmed through the Aditya parts.
I still have to watch the film as a whole. I watched a little bit of Rajkumar Rao's story too. Maybe the film is genuinely trying to give a message against societal pressures and following your heart. Fatima's character was doing everything she could to get her cheating husband out of jail. And she could not see Rajkumara Rao the man who was doing everything to help her was the better guy. He clearly loved her unconditionally unlike her hubby. Because he was involved in crime earlier? Due to parental pressures she had to reject him?
You're making me want to watch the film again.
May be I'll just watch Aditya's parts.
I know right? Sanya's character was selfish as eff.
I would have loved Akash better.
And Fatima? God all through the movie I was screaming at Fatima's character.
How dumb could one be! Rajkumar aced his role didn't he.
I'm glad you liked the movie.
