Also is pretty clear that not the entire IVC spoke the same language, so they speaking Proto Dravidian is just your presumption.

Sanskrit as well as Dravidian languages was written in Brahmi script (of the Indo Aryans)earlier so no way to compare that with Devnagri. If IVC was Dravidian they would have carried forward the IVC script which they didn't clearly proving that they weren't IVC descendants

The IVC people genome is no where closer to South Indians of today than it is to East Indians. East India share highest genetical connect with IVC.. and AASI

The oldest text of Dravidians the Sangam literature speak of Mahabharata, Shiv and Ram.

The Tolkappiyan oldest Tamil grammar texts calls the people here the people of Chaturveda (4 Vedas)

Talagunda inscriptions speak of 3 Vedas(this is the oldest found inscription with the names of Vedas)

South never had any issues with the culture of North or the culture given by Indo Aryan invaders, they always considered themselves to be a part of that same civilization

A bit of study will help you are right, no need to make everything political

Wow Tolkappiyam and all....aapka research kaafi acha hai 👏👏👏👏

True South indians never had issues wirh North culture , it's just that a minor percentage of political parties and their sidekicks are spreading this North hate to gain votessmiley11

I think the problem with South is mostly Hindi imposition, ironically I have met many South Indians (even from Tamilnadu and Kerela, although don't know what percent they represent), who say if one language is needed for country it shall be Sanskrit and not Hindi

The second issue that especially in Tamilnadu, people have got into individual deity worship, groups might get angry with someone who speaks against Ram, Krishna, Shiv or even against Vedas, but when it comes to Hinduism or Sanatam Dharma as a whole they are relatively aloof,

Like right no Tamilians are supporting this Uday Stalin who compared Sanatan with Malaria or Covid, the people who are supporting him are Chandan Tika adorned temple going people (I think once news channel showed Stalin's house, where his wife - Uday's mother showed a room she has for worship with idols or multiple Hindu deities)

A. Raja has gone to next step to support him.

The political groups are creating and expanding this divide, else in past Shankracharya visited Kashi, Agasthya Rishi came to South, Cholas called themselves Shiva Bhakt and Cheras called themselves descendants of Ram/Ikshavaku clan.

Rulers of South were actually protectors of Hinduism and Vedic religion during the invasion phase when Kashi ceased to be the center of learning

I hope this divide doesn't further catch up

Stalin family is the most hypocritical family in the state....when it comes to elections these people perform rituals in the temple but pretend to be anti Hindus

Yes Hindi imposition is the reason too....even youngsters are using social media to shame each other's language to support their own ( both north and south) mostly done by town or village people who only has limited knowledge about language and are influenced by crap political speeches and are recently introduced to social medias which prompt them to do this

If you ask me , everyone should learn English cause that'sthe need right now, it's the universal language and everyone must be well versed at it....
