One could call him "the actor" despite knowing his name. However, if someone doesn't know that Sai Ketan Mahesh Khadsay has been credited by the professional names Sai Ketan, Ketan Sai, and now Sai Ketan Rao, "SKR" is not informative.

Like his name, his hairstyle has also evolved from curly to wavy to gelled-straight-up, and now flappy-wigged. Before he got roles in Hindi, he could sometimes be seen with a tan that he now avoids getting.
